The thing about the DK Rap was that it was well versed and did it's job of introducing the characters in a unique way, considering that there were 5 of them. It helped you get a sense of their personalities and roles because the game knew that the characters would spend the entire playtime being mostly silent.
This new one is just... bland. It's yet another overly derivative aspect of YL, and it doesn't even do much to give you a sense of character from the two leads. Yooka looks REALLY boring when the best thing about him you can think of is "Yeah his name is on the box". It's also the exact same beat from DK64. I was hoping they'd at least be able to write an original tune.
