Nintendo zelda switch

Anyone 150 hours plus in Breathe Of The Wild yet?

Anyone having Botw fatigue yet? I'm 120 hours in and feel like I should be sick of playing. not even close

beaten two of the divine beasts so far and just got the master sword and its a chore to push myself through this

Beat the game and got bored around 80 hours. Returned my switch. Getting a Ps4 instead for P5.

...

70 hours in, just about to go after my last Divine Beast. 95 shrines down and I'm just starting to feel fatigue.

I'm sure I'll be able to finish the shrines and story before I get sick of it. I've already decided I'm definitely not hunting down every last Korok or going for 100% completion, though.

I'm sure I'll play it again down the line when I get a Switch

>same score they gave to Skyward Sword
Was going to buy this but now that i know this i wont even pirate it on my wiiu

Skyward Sword is shit, but to be fair, still has better gameplay and level design than 99% of all games. So, what were they supposed to give it when something like Uncharted gets 10/10 or 9/10?

It's not Skyward Sword's fault reviewers inflationate scores due to moneyhatting.

>Skyward Sword is shit, but to be fair, still has better gameplay and level design than 99% of all games.
>deflecting
Have a pity (You)

Ayy

After two nonstop weeks of playing i think it's finally starting to hit me, all i have to do is beat ganon and it's all over.

I don't want the ride to be over yet,
this is the most fun i've had with a game in a long time, this type of magic may never come again. hold me Sup Forums

Fucking get a grip, man.

I keep getting sidetracked by stuff. I'm trying not to be a completionist because I'm playing a pirated copy on the WiiU and I want to leave something for a replay on the Switch (hopefully with the DLC out by then), but every time I sit down to play the games, I just wander around doing random things and then eight hours pass.

I feel fatigue in the sense that it's time to take a break. I DON'T feel like it's any worse of a game than when I started though.

Definitely my all-time favorite Zelda title and I've played them all.

>Buy Switch for BoTW
>Sell it
>Buy Switch for Super Mario Odyssey
>Sell it
>Buy it again when the library becomes decent
I have no doubt there's some people out there who will do this.

It's probably the first Zelda game with enough content that fatigue could set in.

145 hours in and Yahaha! You found me!. Loving it and looking forward to another 100 hours.

Real question is, will you do it all again when hard mode comes out?

And also if hard mode is going to be good of course.

Depends what they do with hard mode, but I'll most likely wait until the new story mode in winter to do another playthrough. I don't see myself doing all the shrines again.

Ocarina's better

Sitting around waiting for this Shrine platform to light up sure fucking is fatiguing my patience.

I've been playing since it leaked and starting to feel kind of tired of it. I'll probably just play something else and come back in a few months.

Which shrine platform are you waiting for? Did you try getting some firewood and starting a fire to pass the time?

Only if it has really significant changes

>not carrying flint and wood with you

>flint
A flame sword works just fine.

There's no way to know what time it'll light up for Secret of the Snowy Peaks. So unless it lights up at Morning, Noon, or Night then you're just going to skip past it trying to fast travel through time.

>there's no way to know how the sun moves
What am I reading?

what a strange choice for a cover shot

isnt this game meant to be played many times with the player exploring different regions in different playthroughs?

It must be exhausting to tru to see everything in one playthrough.

I started playing a couple of hours ago

I honestly was so into this game I never thought about this shield.

Now link is complete in his traditional look

Retard, you can't skip to specific times, you can only skip to noon and wait.

I have 107 hours in the game, got 457 korok seeds and all shrines.

I think I'm done for now. The only thing left to do would be finding pointless korok seeds since I did everything else.

>There's no way to know what time
>W-what I meant was y-you can't warp to that time
Ok son

I hope it's like a Second Quest mode instead of Hard mode.

I'm really trying not to get my hopes up on this one because it's Nintendo and they've been fucking up everything recently, but I can't help but imagine. There's all kinds of relatively easy system changes they could put in that would have a dramatic effect on how the game is played. Things as simple as not being able to eat food in combat.

thats what you get for tryharding to get the master sword so early

I'm currently running around a mountain in the Hebra area hopelessly trying to find a shrine that my radar is reacting too

>tfw no amiibos
>have to settle for dark link cosplay and git gud because it can't be upgraded

Yeah there is no way to know, you just have to sit and wait, you have some opposition to that?

I'm sick of collecting Korok seeds. Going for 100% was a mistake. I'll likely just get what I need to buy all the upgrade slots and forget about the rest.

Just got all 900 korok seeds.

Thinking of going for all the horse armor next.

I got fatigue the minute I rescued all champions. Can't even be assed to beat ganon now.

>Buy it again when the library becomes decent

Yeah, this is never going to happen.

>completed all shrines
>got all memories
>beat ganon
Shit, I'm running out of things to do. Only remaining thing is side quests, and I don't wanna go fully hardcore with getting all the korok seeds. Collecting all of those is more nightmarish than completing a living dex with all 7 generations.

I personally hope they limit the amount of food you can carry. Having a dozen meals that can heal me to full at any given time kind of trivializes any enemy encounters I might have.

I spent nearly an hour on that. It's inside the mountain. Look for a little tiny pond. The entrance is near there.

People said the same thing about the 3DS, user. The Switch's library is not going to have any competition with Nintendo's first party titles when they finally decide to pull the plug on the 3DS line.

Dosent it feel weird/agrovating the literale pile of shit hestsu gives you for getting 900 hundred seeds technicaly counts towards a 100% completion run, this is probably the only Zelda game I'm never gonna bother 100% complete, I'll just get the minimum required to get all the stash upgrades and be done with it, fucking hell

I was having a blast until about the 70 hour mark when I had a realization about the enemy and reward variety, but it picked back up for me when I entered an experimental phase. This game's little mechanical tricks are amazing.

Still have 11 Shrines to find.

Maybe limit the amount of food you can eat by making Link not a bottomless pit.

>115 hours-ish
Just took the 4th Divine Beast.
The world is alive and a treat to explore, can't wait to check out the maze structures and clean up on quests.

Is this real?
youtube.com/watch?v=kdtoTKed5Cc

Would also be good.

Bad is if it's unchanged. Worse is if they do the typical double/quadruple damage thing because it'll just make everything into one-hit kills (unless armor is still overpowered). Good is if they remove the ability to eat food in combat. Best I think would be having an interruptible eating animation.

Where do you find the classic tunic and hat? I'm 135 hours in and only have like 12 shrines left and I've yet to see that or hear any mention of it in-game, but I've seen a couple screenshots of it on Sup Forums.

>interruptible eating animation
Pretty good idea. It shouldn't be too hard to implement either since they already have eating animations, though they might have to tweak the length.

Get the other 12 shrines finished and then ask us.

I just did that one an hour or so ago.
on SE side, about 1/2 way down to beach, is a very large rock formation. at base in middle is obvious bomb spot.

That doesn't by itself mean it isn't real, they could've just been withholding the info until now to fuck with us.

>classic tunic
8 bit link amiibo reward
>breath of the wild tunic
Once you get to that point, just select the monk's side quest and it will highlight where the tunic is on the map. You should be able to just warp to a shrine and get it there.

>>classic tunic
>8 bit link amiibo reward
I actually just took the warm doublet to the dye shop. Got the hat and pants with amiibos

i kind of wanna replay the whole game all over again because I really want to do the final boss in its non divine beast form.

With the boss rush first and then the full HP fucker

Is there any way to explore the sanctum without triggering the cut scene

Jesus fuck farming Dragon parts for the Wild set is tedious.

Anyone?

Beat the game, got all the shrines and half the korok seeds im replaying the game in Japanese, with pro-HUD now, I can't read moon runes so it'll be harder if I can't remember what to do, I'm in love with Zelda's Jap voice.

How the fuck do I solve this?

flip it over

or git gud

cool game

>want to join discussion but trying to join the thread proper takes me to a 404 due to the stupid /vint/ joke.

I FUCKING LOVE APRIL FOOLS IT MAKES ME HA HA HA

>all these little quests about love and relationships, particularly most of them being timid men too shy to or trying to approach beautiful women

Too close to home Nintendo...

Damn it april fools shit

I'm at 90 something shrines and struggling to find more. So I'm just gonna comb the map from top to bottom.

When it takes you to the 404 page just change the url from /vint/ to Sup Forums and it'll work

Well there's Gerudo town which is basically the reverse, complete with a relationship classroom

Anyone know where to get dtagon horns and fags? Can only seem to arrow off scales.

Nah, doesn't work and takes me back to to the 404 page again.
It just randomly decides to take me to Sup Forums or /vint/ like now where I'm back this thread again but going anywhere else puts me back in /vint/.

and didn't know Sup Forums could get any more cancerous than it already was.

I have 300+ hours and I'm on my second playthrough and I'm still loving it, starting to feel a bit of fatigue though.

Before anyone asks, I'm in the hospital a lot so I have a lot of spare time.

don't know about fangs but try aiming for the horns themselves. I missed once when I was aiming for the eye and ended up getting a piece of the horn instead

I shot five bomb arrow's at Dinraal's horns and got jack shit but one scale

>64 or so shrines completed
>only 68 or so YAHAHAs
>master sword
>all four beasts done
>wandered into Ganon's bossfight and finished the game
>now can't make myself find all the other stuff I missed.

I knew I shouldn't have kept walking into that final area.

I've got 78 shrines, 130 korok seeds, and all I have left to do is get on the big camel. Fatigue is setting in awfully bad, probably just going to finish the game now because I don't want to ruin my experience grinding collectibles. I had a lot of fun with the game earlier on, but damn. I feel like it would've been maybe 10 hours long without all the shrines and filler. If that.

As good as this was, I hope they do something different next time. I feel like they kind of lost a bit of the soul of the game in exchange for hours and hours of keeping you busy with shit. Felt the same with FFXV. I don't like these types of games to give me quantity over quality, it should just be 15-30 hours of the hardest boner ever, and then we move on. Yeah, sometimes I like mindless 150 hour whatevers, but games like this are just spread too thin. It doesn't feel as substantial as Ocarina or ALttP, or anything like that.

I don't see myself ever playing this again after I finish it, whereas 20 years later I'm still playing LttP, OoT, Zelda 1, etc.

Pretty much how I feel. I see no future replay value in this as once you where everything is the world has actual little substance to it. The is nothing on par with the old games' dungeons either so you don't have that to look forward to in a replay either.

So I'm at the part near the beginning where the Zora dudes want me to go kill that nigger that has all the lightning arrows. But this nigger just tanks all my blows. My weapons break down before I can get him to quarter health. What do?

Grab the arrows and run.

>but niggers run faster than poor little white Link

Niggas can jump but they can't fly.

>going 100% blind
>114 trials done
>2 side quests left
why must you torture me so

Fake but there really should be more uses for Giant Ancient cores

WHY ISN'T THERE A FIRE PLACE IF THE OUTSIDE HAS A CHIMNEY??!!! REEEEEEEEE

>hylian shield on the wall

...

>Want to do roleplay walkthroughs based on the various cultures across Hyrule
>Strongest Weapons are only Lynell, Ancient and Royal.
Champion Weapons are pathetic and are severely limited on types.

The game needs more enemy types and better side quests. Some quests were good, most were trash.

I beat Ganon and did all the shrines, fuck getting all those fucking koroko seeds.

Why? I never get the chance to use it when a pot lid can do the same thing.

>tfw 40 hours into this and I didnt know you can parry that shit

I'm a disgrace

I thought I was the only one to cheat like that. ;_;
I thought I was intelligent for a moment.

Is the dragons part also april fools or are there dragons in game?

>The game needs more enemy types
Honestly that's all that's needed.
Most of the more boring sidequests would be ok if it wasn't just bokoblins and lizalfoes you have to fight along the way every single time.

Although I wouldn't complain about better sidequests either.

>completing a living dex with all 7 generations.

I did it with the first 6 gems and it wasn't that bad. Gonna get around to it in sun/moon

Korok seeds are balls though.

I've been playing it on my friend's Wii U, but I managed to buy a Switch today and I'm starting a new file on there. Planning to go to the areas I haven't explored on my old file first, then go around.

The fact that I'll be able to bring BotW to work on slow days is incredible to me.

>April 1st
Kogha's theme is a nice touch desu

Loving it, but I'm taking a break for this one weekend and maybe week, but I doubt I will

This, without a doubt. I was really expecting Like-Likes to appear and be an annoying equipment-stealing enemy
