I'm still playing it since I didn't complete every mission. I'll be damned if the game expects me to complete the boss duos without LW/onmyo cheese though.

I'm still trying out all the weapons. Just isn't much to talk about since everything's been done and anons can't circlejerk about lore for 700 posts like Dark Souls.

Got bored in region 4, not touched it since. Shitty levels you have to replay multiple times with a shitty selection of enemies. Combat was good though.

I had a blast with it. I finished it. Other games came out.

What am I supposed to do exactly?

I bought it midnight on launch, played that opening level and the tutorial, got sleepy and went to bed and then kinda forgot about it.

I should try it again.

i meant the position. both are an action game with a dark/serious atmosphere, japanese traditional aesthetics, made by koei tecmo. this games difficulty isnt as hard as ninja gaiden i think tho.

PS4 exclusive that only half of Sup Forums played because it's a said exclusive unavailable on PC.

What are you on about? I don't even frequent Sup Forums that much and I'm fairly certain everyone here has dipped their toes into Ninja Gaiden. It's not an obscure series at all it's just not wildly famous.

Games great. Combat in particular is fucking spectacular.

The problem with the game was it just lacked variety and because of this the later parts of the game started to feel lacking. Weapon and enemy variety in particular were not that good.

Just waiting on DLC OP. I got a full divine set of Kingo that basically lets me shoot a boss to knock him down and then run up and finish him in one blow.

You're entirely too optimistic. Most people here had their first """action game""" with Dark Souls (pc port) which is why it's still so often talked about.

I'd bet money to say probably less than 20% here have played Ninja Gaiden, Onimusha, or DMC games with DMC being the most popular choice

Well like I said I don't frequent this board a lot but it never seemed like an obscure game to me. Even most of the casual/normie whatever you wanna call them friends I had growing up played them at some point. Maybe not finished, but played.

Still playing it. NG+ is kind of boring, but I get a lot of fun out of NG runs still.

The combat in the game is stellar but everything else is so fucking lackluster. I might come back to it at a later date but damn if I wasn't dissapointed.

I got a little over halfway through I believe, and then it became a slog to get through missions so i stopped playing for a while.
I just want to fight the bosses now because the bosses are excellent, but all the mobs are the same shit I fought in the first few missions.

My copy is arriving next week, I'm craving more souls type gameplay after beating the ringed city.

Just rolled CTA Strength A+ on my Kaido Axe. Hell yes

God nioh is so fucking boring after a few hours its not even funny anymore.
Same enemies, same levels, same weapons over and over and over again
90% of items you get are fucking trash and worth nothing
Even the 10% which you end up using get useless after 2-3 missions
The story is an absolute borefest, with every character, the main one in front, being as hollow and boring as possible
The leveling system is shit as well. Characters feel pretty much the same no matter what you skill and going for a magic or ninjutsu build is fucking stupid and doesnt work.
The guardian spirits, while looking cool as fuck, are 90% trash as well. You end up using a single one for most of the playthrough since the others are mostly worse or gimmicky.
I'm only done with zone 4 right now and i dont think i can bear any more of this game, gonna have to lay it down for a few weeks ...
