Was the ps4 slim necessary when we already had a revision with physical buttons, lower power consumption, and quieter fans?
Was the ps4 slim necessary when we already had a revision with physical buttons, lower power consumption...
That's the version I own. Sadly, I bought it a couple weeks before the Slim and Pro were announced. Now I feel stupid.
slim uses smaller nm chips so it uses less energy, which means less heat, and in turn less fan noise. it also saves sony money in the long run by producing smaller chips.
>Was the ps4 slim necessary
Without having to read the rest of that sentence, no.
waiting for a ps4 pro silm tbqh
I wish Sony were better at making hardware that lasts, even their revisions have major errors.
>tfw got a pro and didn't waif for the slim pro
Yes. Slim models need to exist to make early adopters look stupid.
It's objectively the best model, you should be happy for being in ps4s version of the masterace.
If the PS4 pro slim has a 4k blu-ray drive I will die laughing at you gold face spamming cucks.
>not waiting for super slim pro
>ps4 slim is $230 on amazon and eBay
>pro is $400
Is there any reason to even get a pro?
Its been 3 years, and last gen dragged on for 8. I think the handful of games is doing enough to make people feel dumb
No
My launch model PS4 and 2009 slim PS3 are still going
PS1, PS2 and PS4 are all super safe and decent consoles. My fat PS3 did break though.
>It's objectively the best model, you should be happy for being in ps4s version of the masterace.
The pro added back the optical port so it's objectively the best ps4 version. People who buy slim's are retards.
I can't believe some people paid $400 for a PS4 and then happily turned around and paid $400 for a pro 3 years later.
The Slim further makes it cheaper for Sony to manufacture so it was necessary.
the pro is not worth it at all, the performance is like 15% better total flop by sony
>pc nigger seething and starting a console war
My 89 Sega master system is still running, what of it?
I own every sony and nintendo console/handheld and a pc with a gtx1070 but I couldn't justify upgrading my ps4 to a pro.
Was the ps2 slim necessary when we already had a revision with physical buttons, lower power consumption, and quieter fans?
