I've only broke my right so I can't help you there.
On PS4 there's accessibility settings that will let you rearrange your controller like switch the X button to L1 so you can probably switch stuff around to get something to work. See if you can switch around the right and left stick since that will probably help you more than anything.
Puyo Puyo Tetris is supposed to come out soon, I bet if you switch around the dpad and face buttons you could play that.
If you have a Wii and still have some backlog then now's the time to clear it. Also would be a good time to give VNs a try.
