I don't have time for other games, playing BotW every day
already preordered MK8D, can't wait
Going through Shovel Knight for the first time, man the screen on this thing is gorgeous.
Switchfags remind me of Vita owners that were so desperate for games that they were clinging onto any port or digital game that got uploaded to the store.
Breddy gud, finished Breath of the wild twice and have been playing Snake pass, Fast RMX and The binding of isaac. Especially isaac since it came in.
The original was already pretty addicting but this one will physically destroy my eyes for a while.
Sold MK8 for the Wii U alongside a MH to pay for the Switch version, never got to play the DLC content of MK8 so might as well get it on the Switch, this way i've got a portable version as well.
Haven't touched it since finishing BotW, I really should have just picked it up for my Wii U desu.
Kind of regretting the purchase but I have the disposable income to justify it but eh..
when is MonHun?
Got a switch yesterday
So far so good. Zelda is alright. Haven't tried out bomberman and 1-2 Switch yet.
1-2 switch is a lot of fun with friends, Bomberman...eh, not a fan of it.
Impulse bought it as i have a disposable income as well.
bomberman and 1 2 switch are disappointing. bomberman feels like one of those $15 Xbox Live Arcade games but they charge you $50 for it. 1 2 switch is most definitely a series of joycon tech demos with pictures/sounds added to it and they charge you $50 too.
I'm personally holding off on buying a Switch until they come out with a limited edition bundle, holiday pricedrop, or they come out and announce "NEW" Nintendo Switch with better hardware. Seems like a trend every console is doing now like PS4 PRO, Xbox Scorpio, and New 3DS.
>Seems like a trend every console is doing now like PS4 PRO, Xbox Scorpio, and New 3DS.
or every single Nintendo handheld ever released
Usually Nintendo handhelds get better screens or longer battery life mainly. With the case of the New 3DS, they increased the RAM and CPU power.
Probably gonna finish BotW during the next 2 weeks. Then I'll wait for MK8D.
Can't wait! Haven't played a Mario Kart since the N64 and I hear MK8 is the best so far.
Blaster Master Zero, I am totally returning to the metroidvania scene with this game. Everything just works and even better, knowing that I can play that shit on the go.
BotW is the best on-off game if I just want to fool around in the game world and fuck with all those minions and horses. I am nowhere near to being able to finish this game anytime soon.
I was not really set on Splatoon2 during the Test fire. Everyone was just trying to get used to the abysmal gyro controls and outright disabling it left you with some really weird controls that you couldn't adjust. Heck, Nintendo games rarely let you rebind your buttons so you are kinda stuck with what Nintendo envisioned. Basically fuck you.
Fuck Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for going full price with no opportunity for WiiU MK8 owners for being "early adopters". Upscaled, one additional and "barren-to-be" battle mode just doesn't warrant the aspired pricetag.
It is. You're in for a treat user
WHERE THE FUCK IS POCKET RUMBLE! It's the only indie that I really care for
Is Has Been Heroes any good?
Don't really feel like blowing 40 bucks for a roguelike (Binding Of Isaac)
No. stay far away from it.
>go to party
>everyone's in a good mood
>nice music, people dancing
>suddenly
>from one corner in the room
>bing bing!
>wahoo!
>1 up 1 up
>SO LONG GAY BOWSER
>music drops
>heads turn
>ugh user, did you really bring your toy, what's it called, gameboy switch to our party?
THANKS NINTENDO!
Just walked into Walmart and bought the last one they had along with BotW. Looking forward to it. Now to preorder mk8+
has been heroes is also a roguelike and its not really good
got absolutely nothing to play to be frank
$360 Zelda tablet not including tax
don't even think about trying 1-2 switch, I can't believe this site would hype up garbage like that, you'll have a better 'not a game' time with playing cards or something
I've been playing it and really like it, but I've never played a game like that before.
>he can't afford it
this fully
...
Really enjoyed splatoon testfire, have not played the first splatoon so I´m hype as fuck for splatoon 2.
dropped mine like a retard, hadn't bothered to put a screen protector on, so the screen got two nice, highly visible scratches. anyone know what nintendo usually charge for screen repair/replacement on their handhelds when you send it in?
It's time to stop.
completely honestly this would happen or even more likely the autist would be in some corner playing games when the rest are continuing their party
But the switch is a vita with more than $50 put behind its marketing.
And you can play it anywhere. If you're talking about the 99% of multiplat games that aren't that graphically impressive, why wouldn't you choose the console that you can play anywhere/while you're watching tv/etc?
*BING*

>this site would hype up garbage like that
Pretty much everyone thinks it's garbage though.
WAHOO!
mama-mia!!
your reply is fucking gibberish
well good if it's just one autist hyping it then because it's fucking garbage
That already exists, they're called phones
learn to read you fucking mong, switch has no fucking games and you are scraping the bottom of the barrel
Zelda is my favorite Zelda ever and I've played them all. It trully was a unique and fun experience.
I've also bought Fast RMX and Snipperclips, the former is actually fun, but still lacks Time Trial (forced to play Hero Mode to race in a single race...) and the latter is way too short.
I don't really enjoy Splatoon for now, but I've had a lot of fun with the Puyo/tetris demo, it has just enough content for a free demo.
Overall, really lacking game right now, the system may not be powerful enough for 3rd party games, but is amazing at fulfiilling its purpose: both being a home and handheld console.
Hope it does well, I haven't bought a single PC game since then because I don't see the point.
how long is snake pass
I've played the first 2 levels and the game tells me I've done 11%...
Nintendo shill thread #10.
epin
At least I got a period and caps.
I would rather play a multi platform console game than farmville.
He's talking about people wanting multi plats for this system and I gave an explanation as to why. What is the issue?
Fuck, I can't find one around here at all, they sell out immediately unless I wait outside the store for hours before it opens so fuck that
>the abysmal gyro controls
Why are they so bad on Switch? How did they fuck that up?
$299.99
Grabbed a couple Neogeo games
>NeoTurf Masters / Metalslug 3 / Waku Waku
Got Blaster Master 0 and Human Resource Machine, both are pretty good from what I've played.
These should keep me going for a few months.
So, you're going to wait 7+ months to save 30-50 dollars? And that sounds like an economicly sensible decission to you? We should coin a new term for this kind of post. I propose 'anonnomics'.
>How are you enjoying your Switch so far Sup Forums?
It's alright. It's just a Zelda machine for me currently, a console is defined by its games, not its specs so I'm patiently waiting for the inevitable titles to be released one by one. I've only used it in handheld mode once and that was during setup, its been docked like a traditional console ever since.
>What eShop games do you have?
Zero. Planning on purchasing the BOTW DLC content though, does that count as a eShop game?
>Thoughts on the Splatoon 2 Test fire?
I played two sessions, thought it was pretty fun. Never played the first one. Not sure if I could justify spending $60 dollars on it though, given Nintendo's decision to implement paid online services in the future.
>Will you be getting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?
Absolutely. If you own a Switch you'd have to.
15 levels.
If he wants to save 50 bucks, let him save 50 bucks. There are THOUSANDS of video games you can play to keep you occupied until then. I got a Switch already, but I can understand if someone wants to wait a little while. Don't be a cunt.
Enjoy waiting 2+ years and not experiencing new Ninty titles as they launch.
Don't really have any loose papers laying around that I need held in place with a heavy object so no I'm not enjoying my switch.
It's a roughly 3-4 hour game for 20 bones. Definitely unique, worth looking at, but it's definitely short for the price point.
I took a chance on Human Resource Machine and I'm liking it so far. It's basically pseudo coding, so if you're into puzzles/coding it'll be up your alley, but it seems to be touchscreen control only, which honestly is pretty comfy.
Go back in your hole you poverty bus riding faggot. No one wants to listen to a nigger who can't even afford a $400 console on a whim.
>not experiencing new Ninty titles as they launch.
Oh no! He might have fun playing games a year after the release date instead of as they release!
Oh shit, he better kill himself now then.
Or even worse he might have fun playing games TWO YEARS after they release date!
Everyone knows that games are only good for a certain amount of time before they curdle and are unplayable. That's why no-one plays games more than one year old, you colossal turbo-faggot.
>touchscreen control only
Wait, Human Resource Machine is touch-screen only?
Fuck that.
Yeah, let's wait 'till the multiplayer is on life support and, better even, dodge all spoilers until then. Want to talk about the game you like? Good luck finding people who haven't talked it to death already. Try to start a Nioh thread and see how it goes. Don't want to attack you, but your advice comes with a lot of drawbacks.
I'd rather be a colossal turbo-faggot than a little betacuck that can't afford spending a measly $300 on vidya. Are you a filthy minority or something? If so, get off my board.
Not saying you can't enjoy a game years after launch, but it's optimum to enjoy it immediately at launch for mostly reasons provided.
Why are people complaining about the gyro controls in Splat2? They were great in the first game.
It usually takes about an hour of play to get used to the gyro controls. Once you get used to them, they are obviously the best way to play. Most of the people complaining are probably new to the series.
Took my time and played the super comfy Zelda. I'm at a point where I'm confident I can beat Ganon. (I might even be OP at this point) but I was just biding my time until Persona 5.
I got my copy early, so I'm gonna beat Zelda today.
I also got Shovel Knight, and playing through Plague right now since I never got around to it on 3DS. It's going to be my go to portable for a bit since my console is gonna go into Persona.
Switch will be getting more playtime when MK8D drops.
If it's anything like world of goo you can use a joycon as a mouse pointer when at the TV
BotW machine at the moment, but I'm enjoying that still.
No eshop games, might pick up Bomberman
Splatoon was great fun, gonna pick it up when it comes out
I will be getting Mario Kart 8 because I didn't pay for the first game, or play the DLCs.
Not new to Splatoon at all, I put over 100 hours into the first Splatoon using gyro. The gyro controls in Splatoon 2 are shit.
I don't know if it's because of the different form factor compared to the Gamepad, or if the default calibration is poorly tuned, but it absolutely does not function the same as the first game.
Liked BotW. Got about 75 hours logged. I have the main story beat, but I don't have it 100% completed.
I still suck at Binding of Isaac.
I'm playing I am Setsuna. Really digging it so far. Hope that there are more rpgs coming out for the system
Thinking about getting Has been heroes, too.
It's good, but it's more of a puzzle game. The learning curve is steep, but just remember to take the enemy's stamina down to exactly zero to stun them and permanently lower their max stamina with the next hit. Also, you may have to and can make several switches after an attack to get everyone in the right position.
Please don't make fun of bus riders user. It beats the hell out of driving downtown to work every day.
