hahahaha. ME4 is a flop so now they need to somehow make money quick. Remastering the previous ME games is the panic button.

Gameplay is "fine", but every time something feels off, I think back as to how much better they did X in the previous titles. Even though the combat was a lot more linear in part 2, I didn't enjoy having the power to command my squad and telling them what abilities to use when I needed it the most.

In part 4, it's almost like I never command the squad. It feels very "one many army"-ish, especially more so with switching profiles.

You just had more fun/interesting options in the previous titles. Now, a lot of those options are gone. Granted, they made the gameplay better, but in the long run we've lost a lot of options.

It plays well but that the awful animation is a massive immersion killer.

I heard that the animation was outsourced to Romania by EA and that BioWare wasn't allowed to polish it even when people volunteered.

I really liked the multiplayer. It was good enough that it should have been a different game.

May end up buying this for PS4, if only because I refuse to install Origin on my PC or pay the ridiculous prices for ME2 DLC.

Unless they completely rewrite the ending of 3 the series continues to be dead to me.

I already bought the Trilogy for PC for 10 buckaroos but wouldn't mind a physical disc for my PeeBee Four.

But i already have the pirated trilogy. Also i bought 1st one. Why do i need this one? Remasters are shit 90% of the time (look at heroes 3 hd, paedoshocks, homeworld and others).

I just finished these games for the first time about ten minutes ago. I wish they would have ditched the illusion of control of the story and just told the story they clearly wanted to tell. Playing as a vanguard was fun though.

So the plan all along was to outsource a shitty game in Andromeda and pocket the 40mil to pad your quarterly earnings while the shitty Andromeda game makes people nostalgic for the original series that looks less shit in comparison.

You can easily pirate ME2's, but ME3 will NEVER EVER get a DLC-rollup """GOTY""" edition like DA:I because people actually bought the base game, and they'd never do anything to mess with their Bioware point system

All they had to do was max the base game out and up the rendering resolution for consoles, there was literally nothing wrong with base AC beyond early DX11 issues, it still looks really nice

It's not happening because EA's philosophy is to bury everything that's more than one year old as if it doesn't exist. They never do remasters, they make yearly updates instead.
