Jesus, the amount of circular reasoning that you are pulling out of your ass is making my head hurt, not to mention that backpeddeling on the nature of the Master Spark. Frankly, part of me believes that the only reason that you seek to defame Marisa is because my love for her bothers you in some way. Are you really that upset that my love and my personal interpretation of her stem from canonical works? Were you hoping that I were some secondary that wouldn't be able to call you out on your bullshit? By the way, waiting for page 10, then replying to an argument with a sage'd post? How scummy can you get? The sad thing is, I figured you would, what with the shitposting and all.
Anyway post your favourite vidya girl in this thread, and why she's great.

That's just rude.

Marsia has a nice hat.

Marisa is a rude bitch Prove me wrong Protip: you can't
Carson Foster
Assuming "favorite vidya girl" is codeword for "waifu"
Chihiro's passion for the people and things she loves and constant desire to improve herself . She may seem timid but she really doesn't let anything get inbetween her and her goals or protecting what she loves, and all of these are how she makes my Kokoro go Doki Doki Panic
It will be our 6th Anniversary this month!

Indeed. You have a nice choice in girls user.
Eli Cruz
She's the cutest, strongest, bestest girl in Deathsmiles.
Adam Myers
How's score running going?
Daniel Morgan
I haven't been trying lately. I'll come around again eventually, I always do.
Luke Hughes
Raya-O is great because she's kind, nurturing, and selfless. She puts her own desires second to performing her duties to the best of her abilities in order to help others. She constantly has to make tough decisions trying to find a balance between her duties and the traditions she is expected to uphold and still does it all with a lovely smile on her face.
Wyatt Jenkins
According to a waifu survey I have recently conducted, the most common source for a waifu is video games
Therefore waifus are really more Sup Forums than Sup Forums
Austin Powell
Tell me more about this survey.
John Torres
>Marisafags
David Hernandez
It was a survey conducted on Sup Forums's Waifu Wednesday threads, 8ch's /mai/, Tohno Chan's /mai/, and various waifu related chat servers, and I asked the following questions:
How old were you when you fell for your waifu? How long have you loved her for? What was your love/sex life like before her? How happy/satisfied are you with your life right now? Do you have any medical conditions? What do you think about reality, or her fictionality? What do you think about the possibility of falling out of love? What do you think about those who have? What do you think about those who have cheated on their waifu? What do you think about the idea of being committed to your waifu for the rest of your life? What do you think about waifu"ism" in general? What was your waifu's latest official appearence, and when was it released? How is your offline social life? Were you hurt by 3D/Heartbroken soon before meeting your waifu? How much time a week do you spend online? Would you leave the world you live in to start a new life in her world? What would you do if she married someone else? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I haven't done formal calculations of everything yet, but here are some other results: The average waifufag started their love at 19 years old, and loved for a little over 4 years, currently putting them at 23 years old. She is either a normal human (no supernatural powers or extraordinary talents, just a human who doesn't exist in this world) or an otherworldly being (youkai, monster girl, alien. There were andriods and even an AI, but they are in a different category). The most popular waifu source is Touhou with 9 waifus, while the most popular waifu is Lilly Satou (Katawa Shoujo), who has 3 husbandos.
Carson Long
On one hand, as a primarily interactive medium, people developing feelings for fictional characters from them more often is unsurprising. On the other, waifu is a term that has been abused by many, and this could be reflected in a poll. What's the sample size and targeted demographic?
Jaxson Harris
Videogame stories are the longest of any visual media besides maybe long-running TV shows but unlike those, they can tell one long continuous story without interruptions and can give each character equal or near-equal focus. Therefore, they tend to have more material for any given character than any other medium does, besides books, but those aren't visual. It's easy to see why videogames are the most common source for waifus. Also vidya characters tend to be more developed than anime characters.
Austin Morgan
The sample size was roughly 75 waifufags. I tried getting all I could out of these communities, but I believe the actual amount of waifufags in existence based on the results I got is somewhere close to 125 or 130. I only posted in waifu based communities to ensure I got serious answers rather than memesters who use the meme definition of the word.
I also tried to survey former waifufags for comparison with a different set of questions, but they are a lot harder to find than waifufags. So I only got like 12 or so while the number of formers most likely exceeds the number of waifufags.
Angel Roberts
>but I believe the actual amount of waifufags in existence based on the results I got is somewhere close to 125 or 130. No kidding? That seems kind of low balled in my opinion, as not all waifufag associate with waifufag communities. Plus, Asia must surely have a number of waifufags too.
Adam Flores
>Asia must have a number of waifufags too You have a valid point, but they don't seem to have any gathering places. In fact from the data I found thanks to a friend of mine, they say waifu love is actually dying over there. It's also happening here at a slower rate as well, as waifufag communities seemed a lot more active in say 2011-2013. I have a personal theory about this in that things like this actually relate to the state of the economy, but I'd need more research and evidence to back that up.
I will admit I lowballed but this was solely based upon those I could count that I knew were waifufags but did not respond to the survey, while subtracting a few to account for possible crossboarders.
Ethan Ortiz
Yukarin is buxom!
Kayden Garcia
While this is true for the most part, some vidya waifus (no I will not specify who) don't actually receive all that much development. This applies to some from the most popular source, Touhou, as well. Whereas Reimu and Marisa are very developed due to being the main characters in a long running series, some like random stage bosses have much less development in comparison.
Charles Jones
I disagree, Reimu and Marisa aren't particularly developed either due to Touhou being 90% fanwork.
Also, you're forgetting that most of the poorly-developed-waifus-who-shall-not-be-named are nostalgia waifus from people who aren't really waifufags (IE, Samus)
Carson Martin
>Touhou being 90% fanwork
Blake Hall
There's official works though, so they and a portion of the touhou cast are actually fleshed out.
Benjamin Diaz
There is way more story content made by fans than there is in all of the games made by Zun, is my point. In only the Zun games none of the characters are particularly developed.
I mean, I'm not saying all of the characters are intricate and fleshed-out, but they're about as much as a Persona character at best
Landon Rodriguez
but ZUN writes the official works as well
Jordan Cruz
You don't seem to understand how much doujin work there is of Touhou.
Noah Gomez
What does that have to do with how developed the characters are in canon?
Tyler Diaz
You don't seem to understand that we have 3 on-going manga written by ZUN himself which have fleshed out not only many characters but also the world they live in.
Aiden Rivera
There's official touhou manga and stuff though where the characters have are easier to interpret
Ayden Rivera

Dylan Gutierrez
Does a wafiu really need to have personality?
Luke Williams
Not much to love that isn't superficial, otherwise.
Carter Carter
If looks were all that mattered my waifu wouldn't be my waifu but just another cute girl which are a dime a dozen in video games.
Jason Cruz
I kek'd
Zachary Bell
Lyn
She is caring, courageous and intelligent. And pretty to boot, I find it funny how people shit on her for being forced or irrelevant when if you play her own fucking game and actually read the dialog instead of pressing b, she actually helps eliwood and hector by tracking the fang to get the fire emblem, and cool shit like that.
Anyway remember how I said meme magic will happen for her if you're that one poster from months ago? Well part 1 happened, she won a poll she had no business being 1st in imo, and with that the second phase will begin. Soon my waifu will be forever known by future generations thanks to what will happen next, and she'll never fall into irrelevancy again.
Dominic Adams
I guess. I just wanted a cute girl thread. Damn it. I'll just keep waiting for someone to actually make one.
Cameron Howard
>only touhou characters Fine I'll play.
Robert Baker
Good luck with your search. Why not make your own?
Brody Sanders
What a dull thread.
Samuel Walker
Go ahead an post her, I suppose.
Sebastian Hall
I rarely make threads. They never take off.
Luke Smith
You know what thread definitely won't take off? The one that never gets made.
Jacob Wood
I made a thread in my head and it took off nicely and everyone loved it.
Jonathan Morgan
>Make a thread that isn't bait >Get 2 replies I'm good user.
Hunter Bennett
Ok.
Xavier Stewart
Who's the last one in this disgusting trinity?
Jason Young
what makes it disgusting?
Colton Gray
Tharja probably
Xavier Gonzalez
This cute dog is from a shump, but you probably know her better from the board game spin-off.
Jaxson Murphy
Waifus shouldn't be more related to one board than another, people can fall for any character from any media
3DPD "waifus" are disgusting though I vote for Raya-O, if this is a trinity of the most active Sup Forums waifufags
Michael Ross
That sample size sounds tiny.
Nolan Howard
My apologies, I didn't read There's just more diversity than I expected if only 9 of them were from Touhou.
Cameron Miller
I've missed you Marisanon, but I have to ask, did everything go alright? You said you wouldn't be back for quite a while, and if you did then something didn't go well. I hope I'm just worrying too much and you're fine. Anyway, good to see you again man.
Mason Ward
I like playing as QP in 100%OJ but I gotta admit I feel kinda boring whenever I do. For some reason I just can't get into the OJ shmups themselves.
Easton Mitchell
Yeah, I remember you
I think your waifu was already pretty popular, though
Jaxon Wright
Have you tried Sora yet? I liked that one a lot.
John Thompson
Don't worry about me. I loath to bring up my personal life here, as it is irrelevant to the thread, but I'm doing fine.
Evan Morales
ZUN's romanization confuses me sometimes. How do you get Nazrin from Nazuurin? Or Merlin from Meruran? Medicine from Medisun?
Hudson Martin
Came here to post this, good taste.
Wyatt Barnes
No actually, I haven't played that one. I have QP Shooting Dangerous, Suguri, and Xmas Shooting Scramble.
Mason Kelly
So what am I supposed to do in this thread?
Henry Rogers
The Hell is OP rambling about now?
Sebastian Morgan
Kan-E is better
John Rogers
Post cute vidya grills I guess
Kayden Nguyen
I feel like we've been over this before. Let's just agree that the Senna family has good genes.
Nolan Anderson
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pry. It's just that I remembered that one you said and I had to ask. Anyway, please post more best girl. I would, but I'm on my phone right now.
Brandon Reyes
>Post cute the vidya grill that you love I guess Fixed.
Landon Gomez
That's why you keep pics of her on your phone, fellow Marisanon.
Benjamin Carter
Who's this "cute the vidya grill"? And since when do I love her?
Isaac Brown
Marisa is cute the vidya grill, and your waifu can too!
Julian Gonzalez
I love Reisen!
Jackson Anderson
I post her all the time, but I never have anything to say
I probably come across as one of those memesters

It doesn't matter what people think, what matters is what's in your heart.

Hopefully never.
