IIRC, one of the WWE wrestlers is a huge FFXIV fan. So that's why this promotion is a thing. Kind of like how the Yokai Watch creators son loves FFXIV so that's why Yokai Watch had a event.

The nation leaders especially deserve it, because they only ever really ride the coattails of what you do. I believe this was pointed out when Steps of Faith was new and the leaders initially thought helping Ishgard wasn't worth it, only to backpedal and say it was great when you won and you arrived at the party.

That'd be dumb as fuck even for this game, so I believe it.

I just want them to make more use of the open world.

It didn't change much of anything. Just forced in 3 classes that clearly weren't tested, copied from existing ability sets and called it a day.

They've added plenty of new stuff, the problem is that it either doesn't work (diadem) or isn't something people want (LoV).

ARR was good because it was completely new and showed promise. There was a lot of ways for them to explore, but they never explored shit. We've sat in this stagnant patch structure with content that gradually diminishes as time goes on "because we don't have enough resources, please understand". Fuck off. This is a subscription MMO and I have less to do than when I play a free game like ESO.

At least to take the game back to ARR quality after the empty short bursts of content we saw with HW.

I queried all characters with a level 60 class that also didn't have any mounts and minions in an effort to get RMT bots and I ended up with the bots AND Square event accounts plus their testing accounts.
There are accounts for testing PvP, glamour, roulette, "meteor"(?), Lenovo, Alienware, ALLAGAN CONTROLLER, etc.
