The final boss of your childhood

The final boss of your childhood

>KHIII in december
>15 years since KH
>literally half my life playing this franchise
1.5+2.5 comes in the mail tomorrow, it will be the first time since the PS2 was relevant that i've played KH2 and the first time i've ever played Chain Of memories or Birth By Sleep

Toss-up between Blue (Pokémon gen 1) and Red (Pokémon gen 2).

When I die, I will reappear on this island and fight Riku (my personification of Death) for the right to a greater existence.

I hope you enjoy, but Kingdom Hearts has lost quite a lot of charm in the more recent stuff, so keep that in mind.

Riku is an asshat.

He's a nice enough guy in any game that isn't the first one. He also gets over his brooding shit...eventually.

Someone explain this shit to me.

I played KH 1 and 2 back in the day. Enjoyed them. Whatever.

I now see a bunch of titles call like 1.5 and 2.8 etc. Seems like they're just the original games with some HD polish and maybe additional content?

No interest playing through them again if so, will just wait for 3.

1.5 and 2.5 and the new disc that is both of those have some of the handheld titles as playable and the others as collections of their cutscenes.

the .8 titles are HD remasters with a bit more content added to the main games.

It's the two original ps2 games exactly like you described them + pretty damn solid ports of Birth by Sleep and Chains of Memories, along with all the cutscenes from the games they couldn't port.
All of these are important if you want to understand what the hell's going on in KH3

>finally climb that fucking waterfall
>suddenly King Kong

Haha, really funny. Really fucking funny.

>riku
>not Sephiroth

I started playing this game again recently, and I have to say, it was not as good as I remembered it to be. Story and characters are enjoyable, but the fighting feels so clunky.

I got staff and dropped sword. Did I do good?

You made the patrician's choice

getting staff, dropping shield is the proper way to play the game

anything else is ezmodo

...

I think the opposite

I remember doing nothing but mash attack as a kid with the occasional elemental weakness.

Now I'm seeing every enemy having an attack that can be countered and parried.

Course, I was also a stupid fuck and the game certainly isn't DMC, but it's nice knowing that there's more to it than just mash to win.

Donald Duck seems useless as gfck thought. I remember him being useful.

Now I'm seeing that
