Are the other games actually good?

Instead of just lazy bonus experience, it got revamped with multiple perk skills you can unlock at Ranks 3, 6, and 10 or so. Like one link will give you more negotiation options, another gets better guns or HP items.

So if you're mostly focused on the battles and combat, you can decide who to hang out with based on what perk skills you want and dictate how you do battles which might be fun.

You seem to hate the reading part though which is mostly the same.

P5 is a huge improvement over 3 and 4 (the old games had shitty randomized dungeons, boring enemies, small overworld), but if you haven't played SMT: Nocturne that's probably the most similar game in terms of enemy and dungeon design to P5.

The first two dungeons are pretty rough on Hard mode, especially the minibosses and bosses, but if you can get past that the rest of the game is much better.

I mean I like the last part of it. That sounds amazing. Literally 40% XP and money is just a little too far for me though. 70% sounds like it would've been a good point. You should be finishing battles a lot faster, and thus you'd be getting more over time. 40% is just stretching the game for the sake of stretching the game though.
