thanks dingleberries but if i wanted a "default favorite dreamcast game template" id go watch Metal Jesus Rocks.
Yes. OP is fond of people of the same gender
but he also doesnt have a memory card and the question he wants to know is: What games are fun without the need of a memory card?
You don't really need a memory card for Crazy Taxi. I guess you could also make the case for Sonic Adventure 1/2 because more of the good levels are front loaded. Chu Chu Rocket memory card is just for single player progression.

>MVC2 and CVS 1
The amount of time it takes to unlock stuff in these game is tremendous. It took me two months of non stop playing back in the day to get everything in CVS and MVC2 was actually worse.
>Rush 2049
loved that game
there are tons of great games. marvel vs capcom 2 is still fun to play on dreamcast to this day. just get 100 pack of blank CDs and start burning games.
not hard to figure it out
im a scared because i dunno if i gonna like all the different games and im a scared that if i dont like the game then i wont like dreemcast
Just get on ebay and buy one, they're dirt cheap. Shit, you can even buy them brand new in box for $35. This is for an official VMU, 3rd party would be even cheaper.
Then buy a bulk pack of CDs and get all the games.
you sound like a 10 year old queer kid.
Seconding all 3 of these. You don't even need a memory card to play them except JSR (even that can be finished in a short time). Buy a Madcatz Dream Blaster or Interact Starfire Blaster for HOTD2. You can also buy a DC keyboard for Typing of the Dead.
Shenmue is the game to play for the Dreamcast, so make sure you get one eventually.
Besides the memory card, try to get a rumble pack and an S-video or VGA cable.
The standard composite cable looks like hot garbage.
eBay doesnt send me the memory card through osmosis braniac
i need to know right this minute what the best non use memory card games exist?
this is a blue board newfriend which means it is SFW, take your vulgar language to b or ebaumsworld
Just leave the system running then.
and you should have that ADHD looked at by a medical professional
Is DC emulation any good? I have one but I don't really want to spend money on a bunch of games that are 30+ dollars that I don't have
its n64-tier IMO. some games run alright other run like shit. some games even run better on demul, and other on NullDC.
Dreamcast emulation is perfect as far as I can tell. It use to crash when I tried to play the arcade games in Shenmue but it all runs perfect now.
Demul isn't the horror story I remember hearing. it runs well for Jet Set Radio but maybe I just haven't tried as many games that push the console more.
Certain games run great. Other games like Star Wars Racer just don't work. And like I said, some games run better on demul than nulldc. Lots of settings need to be tweaked to get the optimal experience
>toy commander
This guy knows whats up
Since you have a Dreamcast, a PC emulator would be redundant.
You can just get a 700mb disc and burn an iso file to it. It'll play like it was a real disc, albeit with like 10% slower loading times and possibly missing features if the original disc went over 700mb. The only physical issue is that the laser might possibly wear out quicker than if it was an actual disc.

Another option would be to get an SD card reader for the serial port on the Dreamcast, and just load game files onto that. This a better option as it doesn't affect the laser and you get all of the features of the original game.

Gamecube only sold 2 million less than the Xbox? The way people talked about it made it sound like it didn't even break the 10 mark.
power stone 1 and 2, sonic adventure 1 and 2, rayman 2, pen pen, looney toons racing, echo the dolphin, bass fishing, matt hoffman bmx,
Racing game fag here. Test Drive 6 is my favorite fifth gen racing title and can be had for cheap
It was Nintendo's black sheep, and was their worst selling console by the end of its lifetime.
People were talking about it like that because Nintendo was on track to selling less than 4 million consoles per year, and, excluding the Wii, they still are.
It's working fine for me. The only thing kinda glitchy is the title screen particles that stay behind.
Guess I'm behind the times. Before it was one of the few games that just outright didnt work.
>D-2
>Guts Rage
>Ill bleed
>Powerstone
>Fighting Force
At least it's not the literal n64 version. Even on it's real hardware it's a trainwreck
