A friend got the World End Economica bundle. I guess I'm going to take advantage and "borrow them" while he studies for his exams.
Posting my recommended games from another thread here as well.
>RPGs
Phantom Brave (Gem from NIS, never got quite the acclaim that Disgaea did, but I really like the plot that's not so balls to wall ridiculous)
Fortune Summoners (Sidescrolling RPG with main cast being little girls. Pretty good action, and decent fantasy setting)
Neptunia games (These are generally kinda trashy JPRGs made with shoestring budget, but if idea of playing as different consoles personified as cute girls going on stupid adventures, go for it)
Tales of Symphonia (JRPG to end all JRPG cliches. It uses every trope in the book, but does so in very sincere way. The battle system isn't turn based, but compared to newer games in series is kinda clunky. Still, you can get this for dirt cheap right now)
>Fighting Games
Melty Blood (The anime fighter, it's just really fucking good. Shame for lack of story mode from earlier versions)
Guilty Gear games (The series has pretty decent ongoing plot, but there's active player community only on the newest version, take that as you will)
Blazblue (Same deal as Guilty Gear, but you can pick whole series for less than ten dollars)
Arcana Heart 3 (Your friends may make fun of you for playing fighting game with all female cast, but it's fucking great)
>Just generally good games
Valkyria Chronicles (Very nice light third-person tactics, with very unique art stuyle)
Recettear (How can you not own Recettear yet)
Princess Maker 2 (Very oldschool raising sim, your mileage may vary)
Death Smiles (Very good introduction to Cave's shooters, and has loads of content)
>Visual Novels
Dengeki Stryker (Hot-blooded hero action, with sweet soundtrack. Uses some genre tropes like hero living next to baddies peacefully and neither side realizing other's secret identity, just really good stuff)
Dranganronpa (Not pure visual novel, but has some action segments too, but generally a VN. Focused on murder mysteries, second game is much stronger but first one is fine too, and there's ongoing plot so you should get both)
VA-11 Hall-A (Really nice western VN with bar setting. The discount isn't very big though, so you might want to wait on this)
Higurashi (No actual choices, but the mystery and tone in this series is fantastic. Again, the discount isn't steep but you can pick up the first chapter for cheap and buy more later if you enjoyed it)
Clannad (Classic of highschool romances. There's tons of choices and routes, so this is very stereotypical romance comedy VN. If you're into these, definitely a good pick)
Grisaia (Another really good highschool based one. Characters are really good, and this has probably the best comedy out of translated visual novels)
Sonicomi (Photography game focused on Sonico, all about Sonico. It's actually pretty fun, with different routes and your performance in gameplay sections having impact on the story)
Kindred Spirits (Absolutely fantastic yuri-story. If you are fan of genre, I'd tell you to buy this right away, too bad the discount is so low)
Steins;Gate (The discount isn't very high, but this is one of the best visual novels available on Steam. Really good sci-fi story, if you are familiar with the anime that gutted lots of content)
>Avoid
Agarest games (Unless you really wanna play kusoge, don't go for it. They are some of the worst Ideafactory games)
Sakura series (The art in these is generally good, but each game features very little of it. Stories and characters are also totally ass)
Lots of these have gone on sale in the past, so I'd be surprised if you don't own some of them yet.
>gg accent core
what year is this
>Kindred Spirits
I loved this one so very much. Youka/Aki best couple.
Now 2 anons recommend it.
What anime is Dying Light based on?
I already have both danganronpas, DMC4...
nothing else is even remotely good
its on sale so its relevant, also its better than Xrd
monmusume
Don't get any fighting games. There is not community to play them with.
yes or no?
Might as well, since Zestiria is so cheap now. It does play better than Symphonia, but people are split on the story and characters.
Why not?
because they are dead games?
I think Zestiria is better Symphonia but I think you'd be better off emulating Abyss.
Mushi for ten? That's a fucking steal. One of Cave's best. Wish they would port some of their older stuff though.
>recommends Higurashi
>not Umineko
Root Double is on sale for like ~$10
>tfw the only Musou on sale is DQ Heroes
The reviews are mixed on Steam, how bad is the PC port anyway?
Higurashi is better introduction to 07th Expansion work, and I think it's easier to shell out five dollars for one episode of Higurashi than 20 for whole season of Umineko.
Granted, Umineko is better.

Make sure to grab Princess maker 1&2 as well.
Man fuck Dengeki Stryker. There wasn't nearly enough Dengeki Stryking in it for my taste. Plus, like, every ending sucks ass.
