Just finished watching 358/2.
What was even the fucking point?
Roxas, that's a stick.
I'm just now starting Re:Chain of Memories on the 1.5/2.5 PS4 Collection. The only game I ever played as a kid was KH1 so I'm looking forward to playing all the rest.
Is the story of 358/2 Days really that bad, though?
It's not that it's bad, it just seems like if it never existed it wouldn't have made any difference
To show you that Roxas is a piece of shit that deserved everything that happened to him.
Despair, that's what.
Honestly, I'm on this ride mostly to see Roxas and his two fucktoys get a happy ending. That kid deserves it.
Just be glad you didn't have to actually play the game. The gameplay is worst in the series, bar none.
>if it never existed it wouldn't have made any difference
Not gonna say it's a positive point(and be happy you didn't have to actually play it because it's even worse), but its point wasn't making a difference in the plot, just give some background information for the sake of it, never implying that information would change anything.
Give a little more weight to the Roxas fight in KH 2 FM
Clarify something for me, what difference would it make for the nobodies to have hearts?
Just to feel whole is vague as fuck and for people without any hearts they look like very emotional too
they do, at least Org XIII
It's weird how they handled the "nobodies have no hearts" thing
Well then what's the true objective of OrgXIII?
remember Xehanort? Well Xemnas wants to recreate the Kingdom Hearts to make the Xblade but Sora and friends especially Real Ansem put a stop to his plans
What does he need the XBlade to accomplish? And as a sidenote, what the actual fuck was that design?
dunno, might be his prime directive ingrained in his incomplete head, dunno either but I would design the "ultimate" keyblade similarly to how it looks like now because two keyblades are better than one
xemnas also had a secondary goal. a secret agenda. Due to the fact that he is the nobody of not just master xehanort but also terra, he was searching for the chamber of waking and ven during his visits to castle oblivion. he kept this a secret from everyone even xigbar and siax. he found the chamber of repose and aquas armor and theres a cutscene in the final mix that shows him talking to it quote "its been too long, friend"
It's just the ultimate keyblade and I guess that might give dominion over Kingdom Hearts. Seriously though, what the fuck were they thinking with that lame design?
i just started playing kh2, dont really feel like playing kh1. last time i tried i got burnt out in atlantica. i just don't think 1 is as fun as 2 is. combat isn't nearly as fluid
Same exact thing happened to me
kh1 still holds pretty well aside from a funky camera, fuck Atlantica though
>he found the chamber of repose and aquas armor and theres a cutscene in the final mix that shows him talking to it quote "its been too long, friend"
What does that imply?
I think most of Terra is in Xemnas while there's more of Xehanort in Ansem SoD which would explain their behavior in each game
Shit, that's where I burn out every time I try and play 1.
not sure what it implies, probably that xemnas was truly a neutral dude who just wanted a heart and had a lot of terra influencing him
Organization 13 was meant to serve as Xehanort recruiting ground.
I don't think either of them were truly heartless/nobodies since they both had 2 hearts, like sora and roxas
Got my hands on the HD collection the other day.
Gonna play through in chronological order this time.
Not looking forward to lvl 1 Critical runs in BBS at all.
>nearly completely burned out on KH
>acknowledge that the story is shonen garbage
>not even super into the gameplay anymore
>still looking forward to KH3 just so I can finally see how it ends
how the fuck is xemnas the nobody of terra (terra xehanort?)
wasnt it ansem originally? is this another autistic DDD retcon
Just bought the HD collection. I knew that KH2's beginning was long but I forgot that KH1's beginning is at least an hour too.
this might be the case but let's hope it's solved by KH 3
Ansem was Terra-Xehanort's Heartless, Xemnas was always the Nobody. This was always a distinction.
Do you realize this is just the ending of a saga?
Even if it doesn't seem like it since it took 15-16 years, this is just the first saga.
Nomura said multiple times he intends to conclude Sora's story in KH3 but that the series will go on with different characters and sagas
>tfw been following the series like a shameless fanboy faggot ever since the release of KH1 way back when
>tfw the first arc's finally ending
It's a mixed feel.
Just speed run start that shit.
>The last room in End of the World right before Ansem on Proud Mode
Holy shit am I bad at video games or what?
no he didn't. he said sora will still be the main protagonist after the dark seeker saga. he made that pretty clear in his interviews. he wanted to have different protagonist years ago for the next saga but decided to keep using sora.
xehanort discarded his body and placed his heart into terra's body and took it over.
ansem seeker of darkness was created from xehanort's heart.
xenmas was created from the possesed terra's body.
it's not that hard to keep up with this shit. what retcon in ddd? nothing got retconned.
Plot wise, is anyone interested in games set in the 1000 years between the Keyblade war and BBS?
It's not that bad, it just doesn't really add anything. You have to fucking watch it to unlock 3 attack card types in Re:CoM, though.
The actual organization members actually did have hearts that were growing back. Kingdom Hearts plan was actually to turn them all into Xehanorts without them knowing, because the plot is stupid.
To be fair KH 1 is busted as fuck. Only 2 really works well in higher difficulties.
