This. Nintendo more or less came up with everything for gaming. Then in 2017 they create an open world game that's more or less the best game ever created, BTFO every other game in the open world genre.

I didn't like 3D world or 3D land. 3D land felt too simple and the 3D gimmick was whatever for it. I know it was pretty impressive for the 3DS, but it also felt like a dumbed down Galaxy game. VERY dumbed down. 3D world was Galaxy + NSMB, which made it shit, unless you used MP. I hope Oydssey is good again.

Every console gets its technically speaking "best" games that get the most out of a system towards the end of its lifetime, certainly not at the very beginning by a game that is a port to begin with.

Neither version could run small villages well. If the AI for NPCs is similar in the mario game, it will be laggy as well.

BoTW is just the typical ubisoft game from 2012. There was nothing special about the game, and it should have been out over a year ago.

I don't get how people think this whole game will be in the city. That was one fucking level. It's being designed like Sunshine and 64 in that you have a hub world and then other levels to travel to. Why else does Mario have a giant flying hat as a ship? Plus we also see a desert and a jungle, two staples of Nintendo level design.
The city is only one level. This isn't Sonic 06.
