Steam VR sale

Steam is having a VR sale. Yes, VR is dead and failed, get out.

What are your tips? Here are mine:

Raw Data - Best wave shooter in VR I've tried. It's an Unreal game so the graphics look great. Gets updated regularly.

Climbey - VR parcour with a level editor and multiplayer, nuff said.

Onward - Tactical shooter, very populated online.

Space Pirate Trainer - Fun wave shooter, great game to show off VR

Arizona Sunshine - Legit good single player shooter with a story. It's a "real" game.

I hope all 17 of you pickup some good deals!

Raw Data and Tiltbrush have a free weekend too.

I bought vive vr. the best game I played with it was driving to the microsoft store to return it before holiday returns were up

Arizona Sunshine is only considered good because it is a "full" game in VR unlike 99% of Vive games which are just early access trash. AS would be extremely mediocre if not for VR.

How is Accounting? I liked Justin Rolland from his podcast days.

Right, but because it is in VR it is a great game. That's the magic of VR. Kinda like lots of early 3D games are mediocre or trash now, but they were still amazing and worth playing back when 3D was new.

It's a free, funny, 20min cartoon episode. I don't watch Rick and Morty but I thought it was worth my time.

this game tried to start the trend of cpu-locked exclusives so they can go fuck themselves and their shitty vr cash-in

How much cooler is the Vive than PSVR? I've only used PSVR

Fuck. I was hoping it was a full game so I would buckle down and buy VR.

I haven't used PSVR but I can't imagine VR without full body 360° tracking. It's a complete gamechanger vs just sitting there with a controller in hand. Add to that the higher res screen and power of a pc, it's a more complete experience.

>VR
kek

thread died almost as fast as vr

>Yes, VR is dead and failed, get out.
>tfw got scammed by Valve for $1200
>the only promising thing was their tech demo
>tfw Valve does not make games anymore

not going anywhere near vr until there long term health data for how this shit fucks up your eyes is out. staring at a monitor/tv from a distance all day is already bad enough.

>buying VR games

i'm selling my Vive headset as quickly as possible i don't care if i lose $400 or more in the process.

its an overpriced rip off with the inevitable upgrade coming out soon, they shouldn't have classed what they have now as consumer ready, it should have been founders editons or a Devkit 3.

I heard the TV rumor isn't true, but the data for VR might come earlier than expected. There's also laziness to consider, people with glasses end up resigning themselves to the fact that they need them instead of training their eyes to see things from near or far away.

>staring at a monitor/tv from a distance all day is already bad enough.

t. Soccer mom

Australians got ripped off the most its $1400 aud

Is eve valkyrie any good ?

Visual looks amazing.

>Not buying one for VR porn

ARKHAM VR IS COMING

Well considering you believe something retarded already, I don't think you really need more evidence to confirm your belief that VR isn't for you.

>Try Quill and Medium via revive
>Horrible stuttering that feels sickening

This happen for anybody else?

>the future technology has no future

get dreadhalls and vertigo

house of the dying sun
dreadhalls

Thinkin of picking up Vanishing Realms and House of the Dying Sun. Perhaps Cosmic Trip as well.

Any reason not to? Or other recommends that might have gotten buried under the EA shovelware?

house of the dying sun has more depth

Yeah, but it's still gonna be 2 hours long.

house of the dying sun is neat, best vr space dogfight game so far. it does not have many missions, but its arcade playstyle, unlockable weapons and armada ships, different difficulty settings and challenged offer some replay value. and as soon you master some tactics and maneuvers, this game shows quite some potential. i hope they do more like this.
