Okay, other than the STALKER series, are there any other good Russian games?
I want to improve my Russian

Dota
Stalker is Russian man
King's Bounty.
Silent storm
Space rangers
Sea dogs
Pathologic
>muh GSG is Ukrainian
Clearly OP is talking about the language, not nationality.
Dota and csgo.
Men of War series
7.62 High Caliber
Marauder - Man of Prey
These are the two best Russian games ever made.
> ukraine is not russia
Хoхoл плc.
Paranoia?
Russia actually never made a good game. It's all Ukraine.
Just play any game on russian language with english subtitles. That helps enough.
this series
Rage of Mages (but it's called Allods for russian version)
Space Rangers
Heroes of Might and Magic V
Planet Alcatraz
Precursors
LadaRacingClub
Night watch
Day watch
You forgot Gulman
This.
>It's all Ukraine.
Wrong. Russia made Space Rangers, Star Wolves, 7.62/Marauder, King's Bounty. These are all great franchises and games, they're just not AAA titles.
STALKER is Ukrainian, and last i checked the Ukrainians are making a major fucking fuss over this distinction to the Russians
Unless it's just the memes and Sup Forums making more stupid Slav jokes, as if squating is the epitome of humour.
Are you speaking American right now? No, it's the same fucking English.
inb4 butthurt britbongs
And keep it vidya.
Cryostasis
Metro 2033 is another great UKRAINIAN game, basically a stalker for consoles. I play it again every couple months in Russian and I pick up more and more
Space Rangers is amazing game.
Speaking the sane language doesn't make you the same.
How about you ask a Frenchie if he thinks Quebec is part of France or has any relation.
A Québécois might think so but French doesn't care to acknowledge them. How sad is that.
Ukraine is not a real country
That's exactly my point.
Russian bootlicker fuck off.
I'd rather liberate your mom
Ok, then we agree that STALKER is Ukrainian in all context and not Russian.
Reminder that Russian translation of Witcher series is way better than English one.
Paradise Cracked (Кoд Дocтyпa: Paй) and Cops 2170 (Bлacть Зaкoнa) are really good cyberpunk games, Russian versions are available for free on devs site

Are you just a bot? You're not making any sense.
Witcher 3
How do we fix Ukraine, bros?
No, you are just stupid, user
I don't think STALKER even had an Ukrainian language option because it was made mostly by Russian-speaking Ukrainians.
>the Ukrainians are making a major fucking fuss over this distinction to the Russians
They flip-flop on this with every new president.
Dude that's polish.
Is Sup Forums geographically retarded??
Poland technically belongs to Russia therefore Witcher 3 is a Russian game.
The context is in the OP post.
>I want to improve my Russian
As in Russian language. Nationality is irrelevant. It may just as well be a Kazakh game.
Give it to its rightful owners, Poland and Russia
Stop baiting me
We don't
Lwów jest polski
Pathologic
>no one mentioned Vangers
pls

Tetris
Pathologic
The Void
Pathologic
Terris is russian?
get out of here
...
>playing a game with no voiceover and almost completely invented vocabulary to learn a language
>Russia hasn't released a single good game since Metro: Last Light
What the fuck happened?
Pretty good russian AoE clone
Evacuate the fertile Ukrainian qts and leave the country to its fate.
Social media gaming fuckery happened.
King's Bounty: Armored Princess
Pathologic
Phobos 1953
Vangers is pretty much unknown in the West because the translation was complete ass and they never advertised it.
>I want to improve my Russian
>Tetris
rly
Why make games when you can put asset flips on Steam Greenlight?
Obviously.
Goldenland 2, the russian arcanum.
>I want to improve my Russian
Why?
...
they'll turn babushkas at the age of 25
I can't read cyrilic you stupid fucking nigger.
Heroes of Might and Magic 5 + expansions are all Russian.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 fan-expansions are also Russian.
If you haven't noticed yet, Russians love HoMM series.
Operation Silent Storm (Hammer & Sickle is in the same vein and i like it more)
A.I.M series (RPG-action-racing blend, as far as i remember)
and, of course, IL-2 Sturmovik
Space Engine
Hey OP, I only have a toddler's understanding of russian. Where do I start?
this may be odd to you but people have ambitions in life past mommy bringing you up a pizza every thursday and changing your diapee while you play video games
>russian
what ambitions could learning russian possibly satisfy
other than learning russian for the sake of it
Why Russians love Heroes so much?
One of the best video games.
opening a language barrier to more than 150 million people and allowing you to consume entertainment in that language
non typical languages also look good on your resume, but i don't expect you to know anything about that
And to be honest russian games are one of the most uniques. But, sadly, that doesn't mean they are all good.
>allowing you to consume entertainment in that language
>implying Russia makes anything good other than few video games that are already translated
...
>can't read
>call someone nigger
Can I get a swift synopsis on the plot? I really like how this game looks and it makes me sad that it was never translated to English.
Maybe because it runs on toasters
t. clueless philistine
Russia has some of the best authors
Get educated.
It was one of the few good games in a country that only had Chinese NES and Genesis clones and one PC per 10,000 people.
>Ukraine
The only illusion that keeps the public from thinking Ukraine is not just Russia, is that they are seperate contesters in Eurovision.
Because it's a best turn based game ever created.
youtube.com
As a russian gamer, here's my list:
(now, before you get pissed, this is a former USSR list, but most sane people in Ukraine/Russia don't consider each other enemies, rather closely related a tied nations with fucking war-mongering retards in power)
Stalker
Space Rangers (my fav TBS set in space)
Paradise Cracked (like Jagged Alliance, but cyberpunk, check it out)
Silent Storm & SS: Sentinels (great turn-based squad RPG with fully destructible environments, definitely worth it for fans of classic Fallouts/Commandos/Desperados/JA)
Pathalogic (recommended for all Morrowind fans, has a really distinct feel and atmosphere)
Metro: LL (but it's popular enough to need an explanation)
There are also a bunch of older games like King's Bounty, Hammer & Sickle and stuff. But the thing is, there are no decent russian studios nowadays even though there is a shit ton of russian devs in different western studios, which is kind of a shame.
No Russian (said in Russian)
...
>here's an extremely mediocre music track to prove my wrong opinion
Etherlords 1/2 by Nival, same developer who made HoMM 5. A good MTG/King's Bounty/HoMM clone.
youtube.com
Russians love old turn based games, there's a gorillion JA2, Fallout 2 and HoMM clones made by slavs
It's shit. Slavmaker is better.
God tier HoMM III track coming through
Etherlords 2 is my favorite collectible card game ever.
Ancient evil has awoken.
>Russia actually never made a good game. It's all Ukraine.
Except for Icepick Lodge (Pathologic, The Void, Knock-Knock), Nival Interactive (Blitzkrieg), Fireglow (Sudden Strike), Elemental Games (Space Rangers), 1C (Majesty, Ill-2 Sturmovik, Kings Bounty), arguably even Gaijin Entertainment (War Thunder, Word of Warships).
Just because you don't know about them does not mean they don't exist.
As for OP: go play Icepick Lodge games (Pathologic and The Void in particular) if you really want to flex your Russian.
>mediocre
Get out, pleb.
Because pic related.
ty for proving my theory that you are indeed a dumb neet
