Well gee, no wonder you were disappointed. Not sure who exactly on Sup Forums recommended you this game but they must have overselled it quite a bit. It's a visual novel with minor gameplay elements and "choices". I thought the story was nice and for a relaxing, god forbid "comfy", game it was well worth the time and money I spent on it. Even bought the soundtrack on bandcamp, that shit was great.

This is a legitimate issue with the game. The content is kind of drawn out even though it's fairly short by VN standards. It really could've used a bit more payoff and ideally some major branching paths instead of the optional character endings and getting evicted/not getting evicted. The demo had the whole consequence of causing a traffic accident from sneakily serving someone alcohol and it's a shame that the main game didn't really do anything like that.

That's kind of the point though. Some of the characters are involved in major events, but you only see their lives through Jill's limited perspective. The bad things are analogs to what's happening in Venezuela from the devs' personal experiences anyway, IIRC.
