Devil's Third survived multiple engine changes, the original publisher going bankrupt, AND the publisher they ended up getting doing zero advertising for them, in addition to printing a pathetic amount of physical copies.
The game wasn't great but for all the shit it went through it turned out alright.

It looks really cool and, as much as I appreciated the story telling of the ninja storm games (except 4, fuck that slideshow crap), as well as their overall fun gameplay, the formula has gotten tiring.
I'm glad to see a more open style to Naruto games, it's been a while since we've gotten that.
My only fear is that they'll obsess over the 4v4 stuff too much, and the campaign will be like Xenoverse where it's ALWAYS a multi team fight in the story and you never ever go one on one.
