You forgot the second game where there's no point in picking any race that isn't the DPS/tank or healslut races, and if one race does win the whole PvP campaign then you could forget about the loser races. Also the shooter where we don't know what the fuck SEN and LUK does and it's better off to make nothing but AGI and DEX builds.

I thought it was really boring. The pacing is awful. Characters weren't fleshed out enough, with most of them getting sidelined for Asuna and Kirito who aren't interesting because of how they're basically 99-100% perfect at everything they do. Fight scenes were pretty to look at, I guess.

All I really wanted was just some nerdy videogame bullshit, but the game stuff was either inconsistent, never represented well, or just poorly thought-out. The VR stuff was just used as a way to get a bunch of modern teenagers into a weird fantasy world and I hated it.

It's also quite boring that so many characters are motivated by having been raped. Rape as a recurring theme gets old fast. And it's one of the laziest stories to write about "strong" female characters. Game of Thrones has similar problems.

To enjoy Berserk, you should turn off your brain and look at the drawings.
