It's staying too close to it's roots. The arena sandbox needs to change, because it doesn't work well with modern games.

IMO, it would be better if it did something more akin to old school Halo arena sandbox, giving everyone the same starting weapon, then having semi-weapons and power weapons on the map, not starting with Nerf guns and litter the map with powerful weapons everywhere.

Yeah after playing for a while I have to agree, its real easy to get completely fucked over by being killed once and have no chance of getting shield and good weapons with stacked people dominating the map, shield spawns need to be alot quicker to even the playing field and like Halo maybe not have ammo all over the place so that powerful weapons are only good for a little while before you have to get a new one.
