Ok, Sup Forums, I just turned this on

basically a gimmick
you can find a lot more software on windows 7 that will do a better job

Get ready for unbridled power

Is the gamebar on as well? Because that's a requirement and it's not said ANYWHERE.

What does it even fucking do

I was under the impression most of that shit was placebo having used shit like Game Booster in the past and seeing no results.

Any software you can recommend to a poor user on a medium end rig?

If you look up your asshole you will be able to see the botnet

Worse performance

Stops a few select services that shouldn't be running in the first place and prioritizes a supported games process for system resources.

In practice it can give 5-15 more fps at best on low end systems.

Supposed to stop processes and services that could be causing overhead and improve performance in taxing applications. In reality it's placebo or worse, but everyone that isn't a retard already knew that and doesn't run—especially not an updated version of—botnet 10.

Seconding

windows 10 game mode

screen shot what it says when you click "Learn more about Game Mode"

its just a url to microsoft website

...

fucking microsoft, thats awful.

>missing out on DX12
Just run a gutted version of it, works just fine.

Limit telemetry, defender and update services also other small services that shouldnt exist in first place.

>Limit telemetry
AHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAH

That is what it does.

It doesn't disable it but just changes how many resources it uses, it will still run in the background.

Literally the "blast processing" of PC games

If your CPU is shit enough that background processes in windows 10 turn the game unplayable, just go back to w8.1
The fucking gamebar makes 15-20fps difference on my 2009 laptop alone when playing Halo 3 for example. Having xbl and game recording on by default is cpukiller.

where the hell do I find the this?

Its on the last windows revision.

It says my windows is up to date, but I'm not seeing it in my settings
