>play a PC game for the first time
>spend time trying to find out the best possible settings at a stable 60fps
>put off the game for now after being worn out from testing
Does anyone else do this?
Play a PC game for the first time
Not really, I just put the disk in my ps4 and it does it automatically :^)
Rarely. If the game's giving me issues, yeah, but I don't buy games I'm not sure I can run at sixty. I got no problem buying a new release and saving it for when I upgrade.
Whenever I see this particular image of this girl I get a strong urge to suck on her tongue.
>60fps
>ps4
kek
There's only a few PS4 games that run at sixty frames.
Games are simply less enjoyable on PC versus consoles. The whole "it just won't feel right on PC" meme is actually true. Games are made for consoles, not PCs. It would be like trying to use a car as a lawnmower.
Action mode in Nioh
With mods, not with performance.
I spent hours trying to tailor the "perfect" Skyrim experience with graphics and gameplay ocerhauls and then when it didn't work exactly right on my first try I said fuck it and haven't had time to play the game since.
Stop talking out your ass.
Like I said, a few games. Also, you're not required to lower the graphics.
lower the graphics on PC*
Usually only happens with faulty ports, old games or emulated games.
So yeah, occasionally.
I'd rather just use a console, which works by default
what kind of toaster do you have? nvidia gpu?
>I am too retarded to couch game with PC
DO NOT get into PC gaming if you're planning on spending the same amount of $$$ as a console.
Those ''Potato Masher'' budget builds completely neglect what PC gaming is all about, going ham with the fucking beastly hardware at your disposal.
If your PC is not able to just max out everything to 60fps/120fps or w/e you were looking for then you done goofed son, should have spent more $$$ in the first place.
If you're not willing to do that, just get a console, it's not as bad as people say it is.
>start game
>immediately go to graphics and set everything to the highest
>run benchmark and depending on performance turn down certain things
>run again to see performance
>make last adjustments
>run last benchmark and turn off pc
Lol I'm mad that this is true but it is. I miss being able to just put the highest preset on and simply playing.
Sli gtx 780s are getting obsolete sadly. Gave one card to my brother and plan to upgrade my gpu and monitor next gen.
>60 fps
>2017
fucking weebs i swear to god
>Those ''Potato Masher'' budget builds completely neglect what PC gaming is all about
Modding? Backwards compatibility?
>open geforce experience
>click optimize game
>move some settings if it bothers me
5 mins tops
inb4 amdrone rage
Nioh looks like a PS3 game, even my normie friend thought it looked shit
Happens to me all the time, my first session with a new game is almost always a mix between fixing shit and tweaking options, I always end up not enjoying the intro of any game because my mind is focused on fixing shit that isn't feeling right.
>set everything to medium
>turn down shadows and and bump up textures
>play game
Young me would have been so mad that I don't really care about graphics anymore as long as it runs reasonably smoothly.
>worn out
>from clicking on options
wew lad that was some workout
>worn out from testing
Reading comprehension is great, try it out sometime.
no
You're a fucking retard if you cannot comprehend even what your own implications were.
Good luck modding on a budget build, non-retard. Oh wait, you thought I meant something. Hmmm ... read again?
