Find a flaw

Find a flaw.

Unity engine, still has slowdowns even on high end PCs, and just imagine how bad the Switch port will be

It's a metroidvania which is a buzzword which automatically makes it bad. Sad too if there were some politics to it then we could discuss it ad nauseum unfortunately it is just a buzzword videogame

>no color, just black and blue
>75% of the game is spent backtracking
>awful map system
>have to equip a charm to see yourself on the map
>le dark souls 3 final boss lmao
>awful abilities
>awful boss fights especially the short ghost ones
>nail arts are retarded
>white palace is artificial difficulty

The only good thing is the enemy variety. Everything else is shit.

Doesn't run on my compute despite of being a crappy game.

I want to bafanada her mobadis.

Flavor of the week pixelshit

Too buggy

I can find none. It does everything I'd want from a Castlevania style game. I really loved the environments, the music, the way they implemented bugs into the culture of the world. I have no complains about the game whatsoever. Just beat the game yesterday.

you don't get to fuck Hornet

>hollow knight
>pixel

I can't. It's pretty much the best metroidvania after Super Metroid.

>optional secret platforming section is too hard for me :(
>not just equipping hiveblood and making the whole area trivial

not even remotely fun

Fantastic game. Gonna move onto Rainworld soon.

The map system is an annoying chore that doesn't make the game anymore "hardcore" and just makes it annoying.

It's still a real good game, though.

What the actual fuck nu-Sup Forums
There's no pixel art in this game, at all.

>hollow knight
>rainworld
wow, you sure are into GOOD games. you should add fez and braid onto that.

*blocks ur path*

Stuttering can fuck you over.
Cornifer is either very well hidden or basically in plain view depending on the zone with no logic.
Some charms like Hiveblood just make whole areas trivials.
You can't remove the HUD to take screenshots.
Unsatisfying conclusions to some character's stories.

8/10, 9/10 if they fixed the stuttering.

Beat the first form second try. Went to dream world or whatever to fight him without knowing what was going on. Got fucking rekt. Is he as hard as I think he is?

The guardian stinky charm kills those annoying fucking things that pop up during the fight but I managed to kill him at the same point you did. It was easily what I died to most though. Great fight.

I don't think he's as hard as you think he is, he didn't give me too much trouble. But then I got my ass kicked 50 times over by failed champion, and even soul tyrant bullied me hard. I guess there's a different struggle for everyone. I BELIEVE IN YOU user

Rainworld is shit in comparison though

Very low amount of slots for actual experimentation with charm combinations is my only gripe.
And yes, i know about overcharm, it's not worth it in almost any situation.

It stuttered for me in the first boss fight and got me killed but then it never happened again. Oh and I despise those critters with lasers on their backs but that's just me I guess. Can't think of anything else but I haven't finished yet.

Cornifer but even that is kind of fun cause that feeling when you find him is just awesome.
Looking if there is paper sheets on every room.
In the distance you hear his humming.

The art is ugly. Check out Rain World if you want an pretentious artsy game that actually has nice art.

Ok. It might have been because I wasn't prepared at all to fight him again. I just kinda went fuck this when he rolled me and moved on to other things.
There's just so much stuff to do in this game that I sometimes get completely lost. Like I remember areas where I would have needed the ground stomp or double jump but I just don't remember where they are.

you can kill them with spells if you don't feel like dealing with their bullshit

I don't think you know what pretentious means

Oh thanks, I tend to forget that I have that magic blast attack too

>Game has every bug you can think of
>Doesn't have ladybugs or bumblebees

I think they have something against cute bugs. They only included ugly bugs

they do have bees famalam - head on to the Hive there's loads of them

It's a video game

not enough Bretta porn

it's too hard for me and takes like 100 hours and i feel left out

Show me pretty moth and bee girls and I will buy it.

...

>tfw zote turns up after the trial and Bretta falls in love with him
B-bretta baby p-please take me back

...

Do I have to find all the secrets before killing the final boss to get 100%?

that doesnt change the fact that she has a fat fucking ass

>No Bretta porn
>A truckload of Hornet's porn showing off her butt

This is alright

She's just a naive fan girl. Hornet is where it's at.

No, there's a bench right outside the final boss and when you reload your save after defeating it it'll bring you up to that point.

It's 2D

I appreciate the Hornet lewds, dont get me wrong, I do.
But I want to fuck every bug in this game

Ok cool. I'm ocd about exploration and missing things so I feel uncomfortable moving to a next screen without hitting every wall possible.

What characters are they gonna add for new playthroughs?

I think it would be pretty interesting to see the game from Hornet's perspective.

I wanna fug moth milf so bad.

>eternal shilling
>shitting other games just to shill this one

let me be straight with you, the game is pretty damn fun with it´s ups and downs but the constant shilling was annoying to death in terms of shilling its to the par of Night in the woods

it's not as good as Ori

Flaw 1:
The map mechanics are completely unnecessary, standard automap would just be better.

Flaw 2:
New abilities don't make it easier to backtrack. The level design is otherwise great, but this is a huge problem

It's still a fantastic game

thats the spirit user
I want the cannibal giraffe bug to give me deepthroat

but i cant even find a picture of her :(

serious question: wtf was hard about white palace?

It has better level design, far better combat, much more freeform progression, better upgrade systems, and better secrets.
Only things Ori does better are graphics and platforming

>nail arts and a lot of charms are rather useless
>some charms are ridiculously OP
>stag stations are too common in earlier areas and too scarce later on
>platforming sections are often a pain until you get Hiveblood(which you get too much later on)
>can't turn off the soul regenerator last charm which produces that incredibly annoying sound when in a bench

Aside from that, it's one of the best games in the year so far

OFFICIAL HOLLOW KNIGHT LEGITIMATE COMPLAINT LIST

>Silly performance issues
>It's possible to permanently miss flavor text for no real reason
>The number of notches you get vs. the total number of charms with 2-3 notch cost means that you can barely equip anything
>Many charms are pointless, such as the Compass, which should have just been an item you purchased for a lot of Geo
>Entire rooms fill out on the map once you've been a single step inside them, meaning that you don't know for sure what rooms you've been into fully unless you make a mental note of it
>Getting to fast travel points takes just a bit too long to be convenient
>No item to automatically return to next bench without losing anything - you have to quit to the main menu to do this

Otherwise it is a pretty good game.

I loved the game, specially the part where i stopped playing and replayed the actually good castlevania games, if it wasn't for this game being so shit i wouldn't have had urge to replay them, i'm really glad.

>The map mechanics are completely unnecessary, standard automap would just be better
While I won't say it's perfect, I wouldn't call it unnecessary. Exploring new areas always requires that you remember the layout of the rooms you are going through until you find a bench. Automap makes exploration less entertaining because you are sure you are always going to find your way through things and back.

fps drops

Oh, and there should be less Mask/Soul pieces sold in the store, and more of them as boss rewards instead.

And there should be more ways to spend money after you buy just about everything.

>accidentally enter Crystal Peak with a shitload of Geo on my way to buy the lantern
>no way to leave until you go through the entire place

Combat could be better, spells are pretty worthless leaving you with just your nail (which too be fair can be customized with charms)

Boss fights are pretty simplistic with only around ~3 attacks per bosses. Boss refights are made harder by just making them faster and do more damage instead of making them more interesting.

Still overall 9/10 bretty gud

How come? You can exit through that other passage, the one above the mine entrance (with the singing miner with whom you can talk)

Technical issues that affect basic movement, occasionally just ignores input. Lots of other bugs (LOL), for example I'm locked out of getting the last journal entry I need because I killed the last two elder baldur's in the game (who don't respawn) and neither counted as a kill for some reason.

And the white palace fucking sucks all around, fuck that shit. The game isn't super meat boy, don't throw that edgy pro-platformer bullshit in a game not equipped to handle it and have it be a barrier to 100% completion.

Too much boring backtracking as well, even for a metroidvania. Lots of hidden shit means having to go back to big areas over and over again.

Regardless, still my favorite game of the year after BotW. Very good.

Not if you take the other entrance without opening the door first.

Ah shit
