she dresses like a whore and sounds retarded with that american midwestern accent
>Midwestern
U wot m8?
SE has to milk all the DLC money they can before announcing a PC version
Gonna release all the DLC for Consoles, then PC gets it all bundled
southern, whatever I*m not american and I'm not smart
>american midwestern accent
Giving the platform the attention it deserves, as per usual.
A couple of years from now, we'll have posts about the ''definitive version, thnx for beta testing!!'' anyway.
I think she's cute.
We are still getting 1-7GB patches on PS4. Square Enix knows it's a bad situation at the moment.
...
Most people will just have forgotten about it when it releases on PC like it was for FF13 /13-2
Because nobody aside from the lowest weeb trash and Nips have any interest in a vidya where 70% of the gameplay consists of camping with a bunch of homoerotic dudes and pushing a car across the desert.
please stop shitposting
it's actually more like 80%
They're waiting for all the DLC to be finished, obviously.
I won't. I wanna see Cindy on my screen.
>What's taking these fucks so long?
Nvidia gameworks and DLC
Tabata has said that the game is currently optimized to make use of consoles only. He point blank said that they would practically have to rebuild the game from the ground up again to support the platform without it being a buggy mess.
where is my Kimgdom hearts Pc port?
then why Nvidia has used it to showcase Dx12 and gameworks?
PS4 and Xbone has the same architecture as a PC...
The game isn't finished yet.
It will only come to PC once all DLC are released and the story holes are fully patched. They literally said they've got entire year worth of content and story updates planned for this shit in 2017.
So expect PC release for Holiday season or in early to mid 2018.
It's pretty astonishing that they admit they have a game whose PC port could potentially be worse than FFXIII. That game barely touches your CPU and throttles your GPU while not fully using it either.
Do you really want it? It wasn't that good.
her accent was a bazooper killer.
It was the best game of 2016.
>So expect PC release for Holiday season or in early to mid 2018.
Damn, that's a long time.
I watched some gameplay and I really enjoy the comfy atmosphere. The soundtrack is great too. Looks like a fun adventure to experience, which is what I want from my JRPGs.
nice meme
>Most people will just have forgotten about it when it releases on PC like it was for FF13 /13-2
I didn't.
FF13 Trilogy on PC is objectively best way to play the games, even if the first two struggle to maintain 60 FPS after you use the framerate unlock hack due to bad CPU utilization.
Besides this shit unironically looks much better than FF15 does on PS4.
lel
Fair enough then. Well you'll probably be waiting awhile. Probably when they release the inevitable GotY edition.
Not even close. Different drivers, kernel support, API implementation, the list goes on.
On top of that they're just APU units running on what is more or less laptop grade MOBO's and exclude chipset features for PCi-express support which is the passthrough for all modern PC GPU's. You have to implement all of that just to get the game to display let alone actually work in any sort of optimized fashion.
>that screenshot
Are those mods? I don't remember FFXIII-2 looking like this.
Nope, just downsampled from 4K, the only "mods" I have is PS3 button prompts, fix for the broken rain droplet textures and unlocker for the GoyStop exclusive items that weren't available on PC.
The fuck is wrong with her left arm?
Is there any appetite for it?
Arm stocking + shadow from the moogle.
Not an argument.
Dumping some more screenshots from FF13-2 on PC.
Literally better looking than FF15.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
stop memeing you fuck
...
SHUT UP AND POST MORE CIDNEY
I'd wanna milk her too if you know what I mean ;)
Exclusivity contracts most likely.
Man, I think I was too busy playing the game to notice how good it actually looks looks.
so this is the power... of mustard...
I fucking HATED those minigames.
>Xbone and PS4
no
I wish she had a larger role in the narrative.
Because that's how tech demos work? THere's a difference between showing it off on one of the best PCs out there with a few select scenes and having the game run well on billions of mid to high tier PC configurations
Same reason why we'll never see real time water and all that shit even if consoles wouldn't exist
Did you play it on PS3 by chance? The 720p resolution witg sub 30 FPS drops definitely hurts the impact the visuals have.
But yeah, 13 games are quite fucking pretty outside of occasional low poly model.
...
It's sad how bad XV looks.
Doesn't FF14 run on a new version of that engine? It's not the best looking game out there, but it's pretty cool how far they've come from rather linear games to huge MMOs with weather systems day night cycle almost no loading times even with hundreds of players etc. and the lighting is still pretty good
No, played it on PC, but I don't remember the graphics being so clean and crisp like they do in your screenshots. Were there graphics settings that I missed or something? Am I misremembering? I genuinely don't know.
PC gaming in a nutshell.
Let's get real here that's a lie.
The fact that the xbone got it means they had a contract from way back when the 360 was popular. Nier skipped the xbone completely which is a recent game.
They likely had a contract with ms/sony saying to delay it on pc like destiny 1.
It really doesn't matter at this point because we know the game is shit judging by its ratings and the sausage fest of a party.
Get some AA user. The jaggies hurt my eyes.
The crispyness is just thanks to 4K. Visuals always become sharper and clearer the higher the resolution. Downsampling to 1080p from 4K still gives you a MUCH better image than native 1080p with AA.
Nah, the original 1.0 FF14 used FF13's Crystal Tools but they switched to a custom-made engine for Realm Stillborn, apparently it's forked from an older version of Luminous (the FF15 enigne) since YoshiP called it a sister engine to Luminous.
It's inconsistent as fuck, but i guess that's what happens when you go for 100000 polygon models in an open world game. They should've focused more in consistent arstyle and use hgih poly models for cutscenes and lower poly models for gameplay.
I realyl hope they reuse the monster models though, would be a shame to just throw a lot of them away
...
Where's the Noctis version?
You can't play FF13-2 on PC
it's literally broken now
What happened?
Literally false user. The only thing "broken" about it is lack of 60 FPS support. If you go out of your way to remove the 30 FPS lock, you can go to 60 FPS but if you drop for even a second below that, the animations get all fucked and jerky because they're tied to framerate.
He's retarded or has a toaster. Probably both.
If you won't be able to mod her in as a playable for the peecee then this game is worthless and doesn't need to come to it.
WTF I think i'm gonna have to replay these games again. and take HQ screenshots of Lightning
Did they ever fix the overscan issue this game had?
FF13 Trilogy is really purdy.
Yeah it got patches like a month in.
Yes, but isn't that all these games have going for them? Aesthetics? The gameplay is boring and the story isn't competently told.
Reminder that this handsome motherfucker is apparently getting his own DLC/story segment in one of the 2017 updates.

If there's anything FF15 did right, it's Ardyn, adult Noctis and the Shimomura part of the soundtrack (it has 3 composers, Shimomura only did 1/3 of the game's OST).
You clearly never played it past Chapter 4, because end of Chapter 4 is where it reams your ass and autobattle alone stops being viable.
Have some more!
Your criticism only applies to literally first half or so of the first FF13. Second half, 13-2 and LR have gameplay done just fine.
Story goes full retard in 13-2 and LR though I'll give you that much, but 13 itself is pretty self contained and you don't need to play the sequels if their story bothers you.
FF14 looks pretty bad if I'm to be honest.
Models are low poly as fuck, lower than FF13, textures are lower res as well and the biggest offender is the lighting which is almost all prebaked and flat as shit.
...
I assume they are. But here's some more!
oh, this is why the game have just few outstanding tracks. Nice to know
Yeah no shit, it had to run on PS3 with tons of players and a big world
it's going to be a repeat of every time PC gets a game. Pick any mediocre game that people played and mildly enjoyed and they'll get it 3 years later with 10 extra FPS, screaming about how PC always wins baybee
FF14's real strength is that for an MMO it still looks quite decent, much better than its competitors WoW and TOR.
But yeah, with a lot of people in hubs and shit and world being essentially open world for the most part and targeting consoles and china, they just had to hold back with intensive stuff like lighting and shaders and trust me those two things alone could improve FF14's visuals immensely despite models and textures not being exactly amazing.
Yeah, if you have a proper OST rip, it credits who did each track.
You've got 5 composers in total, with 3 of them doing most of the OST.
Yoko Shimomura which made the great pieces like Omnis Lacrima, Apocalypsis Noctis, Veiled in Black, Magna Insomnia and so on.
Tetsuya Shibata who did all the country shit like Hammerhead.
Uematsu who is credited for original composition's of the recurring FF Main Theme, Victory Fanfare and Chocobo tracks.
Yoshitaka Suzuki who did the "generic western AAA wubwubwub action" shit.
And finally, Shota Nakama who did the boyband shit like "Bros on the Road".
Shimomura is literally the only good composer in FF15's repertoire and her tracks are pretty much the only good ones.
The only non-Shimomura track that I liked was the Last Bastion version of Hammerhead that plays in World of Darkness.
It's very chill and comfy, and yet filled with danger.

See I'm perfectly aware of the limitations in FF14 and what they're caused by, I'm just saying that it's inferior to it's two odd numbered brothers in terms of visuals.
I'm surprised that it even runs as well as it does on PS4, even with tesselation, real time reflections etc.
In terms of tech and optimization it surprised me more than FFXV and has tons of small details and shit.
FFXV just feels like a failed Luminous tech demo
FFXIII and XIII-2 already natively support 60fps on PC. I don't know where you're getting this need for an fps unlock from. Maybe its just been a while since you played the vanilla version or something. It did receive updates
Both FF13 and FF13-2 looked pretty good for old console games.
>playing the game in English
You have to go back
Even some of the Shimomura tracks took a dive imo after 2013/2014
I don't know if it was because of the director change or something, but everything up until Duscae sounded way better a lot of the later tracks are way too bombsatic over the top specitacle or straight up Elder Scrolls rip offs
FF11 and FF14 should've never been numbered titles.
I have nothing against them being MMOs and existing in the first place, but them being numbered titles is literally nothing more than greedy Squeenix executives trying to ride on the mainline branding to sell more subs and you know it.
>FFXV just feels like a failed Luminous tech demo
FF15 suffers from many problems, PS4 being far weaker than the developers anticipated being one of them. The others obviously being troubled development, changing directors and finally rushing the game out in unfinished state due to contractual obligations with the Japanese government and the fashion company that demanded 2016 deadline.
I played them long ago but the framerate was locked at 30 in 13-2 with no options to switch other than a mod, and being on very quick googling I did just now it is still the case.
Only FF13 doesn't need a framerate unlocker apparently.
It's definitely due to Tabata because he's a westaboo and he legitimately went on record saying he hates Japanese game design and is inspired by western titles like Skyrim and Heavy Rain.
That's why FF15 sounds ike generic western trash outside of the Shimomura tracks that were already recorded far back forever ago for Versus and it's easy to tell because they stick out like a sore thumb compared to rest of the ost.
>Still no model for me to put in cute, lovely not too lewd poses
;_;
Sounds more like wrong priorities to me. Other games are way better and do just fine with good artstyle etc. FFXV was just tech and animations first and everything else and they listened way too much to feedback to the point where they changed the combat system less than a year before release
I honestly feel bad for the art team and team behind the combat system that had to keep up with all that shit
XV made me bored of a lot of the tracks retrospectively, Omnis Lacrima or Somnus were one of my fav tracks ever and now i can't stand them anymore especially Omnis since they just use it for way too many big enemies
...
To expand on what I said regarding the good Shimomura tracks clearly being from Versus, we need only look at them:
Somnus - from Versus, was in trailers for ages
Stand your ground - ditto
Ardyn was confirmed to have been from Nomura's script, he wasn't in the original 2008 conception for Versus but Ferrari confirmed that Ardyn was introduced to the game as far back as 2011, although his design changed a bit next year after tweaks he was told to make, since the game was still under Nomura's direction back then and was still Versus, we can safely conclude that Ardyn, Ardyn 2 and Magna Insomnia tracks are also leftovers from Versus.
Veiled in Black again dates back to old trailers for Versus
Valse di Fantastica, ditto.
Fight is On, ditto.
Apocalypsis Noctis, Omnis Lacrima, both are Versus trailer tracks.
Honestly, so much shit in this game got cut when Tabata took over simply to meet the fucking 2016 deadline and then the faggot went the extra mile and changed a bunch of shit for his own Westaboo cuck vision.
At least he had enough common sense not to trash some of the better parts like Shimomura's music and Ardyn.
...
It's legal bullshit honestly. The lady who sings Simple and Clean doesn't allow her music to be distributed digitally or something like that, and since her song's in the game it can't be released digitally.
>these jaggies
user please, for the love of god, do yourself a favour and start downsampling from 4K.
If you can't then invest in a better gpu.
>I honestly feel bad for the art team and team behind the combat system that had to keep up with all that shit
That's why focus groups are cancer and why executive meddling is even bigger cancer.
FF15, or rather Versus XIII, is a victim of both.
Nope.
Nah that was never true
The PS4 games are all available digitally now
