Both the U.S. & Canada are remarkably stable countries without a great deal of social issues. Are there? Of course. Drug use is a horrid issue, as is the inability for the lower class to obtain proper, affordable medical care. So long as "heath care" is a profit-driven industry this will continue. Violence isn't nearly as big of an issue as it used to be, nor is racism/discrimination...even though there are fringe groups who might try to claim otherwise by citing evidence they themselves fabricated.

Everyone is able to succeed so long as they actually put in the effort and take the appropriate risks. Obesity is a huge issue (pun intended), due lack of affordable heath care, personal issues, and incredibly shitty food & drug regulations (most of Europe would never allow into their food supply what the U.S. does with a smile).

But social/political unrest? Any token protesters for "x-cause" scurry indoors at the mere hint of rain. That's not "unrest", that's bitching. And the esteemed politicians who yell at each other for the cameras and can't agree to anything still share drinks with one another at the same clubs and bars. That too isn't unrest.

It's performance art.

Well, I can't really argue with this at least. As far as social issues go, yeah, we're pretty well off. Political issues is much more debatable, but this isn't the place to discuss that type of shit, and moreover it ain't the type of theme that Persona normally tackles, so it's moot anyways.

Game could be really long because Atlus could make a killing in describing why Trump is evil and how much Diversity rules. But it could also be super short because most people would drop the game after they discover all the vilians are all the same white cis males.
