Because it's addicting and still has an established playerbase. I find myself resubbing every now and again just to fly around and run old dungeons as dumb as it sounds. When you put over 700 days played on a single character, you grow attached and I'm sure that holds true for a lot of people.

It's like gaming fusion - it achieved critical social mass, and while it dwindles it's pretty much a social platform now. The way it dies is with its generation. Families have been made from the relationships formed from playing that game. It will never truly die.

I do. It feels like a team effort and makes me feel really good after we eventually beat it. Some of my fondest memories are wipes that someone did something tardy on.

wiping over and over is part of the entire thing
it's the progress and the teamwork that gets you closer to your goal

Still I cant justify doing the same raid on 4 different difficulties because it feels redundant, specially with all the RNG and class ability purges, making everyone be the same
