You didn't hear this from me but...
Jan 2018

Never. I liked LiS until the 5th episode, and I get the feeling if there is a season 2, it'll only be worse.

What will it be about? Rachel Amber

But NITW already came out.

I really wish they'd do just one more season with Max and Chloe.

i hope the train comes

I really liked this game but at the same time it made me cringe so much. I haven't felt this conflicted since I played Final Fantasy X-2.

Why? Max already saved Chloe and destroyed the town, there's nothing left to do

After Dontnod launch Vampyr i guess.

I hope they create a whole new "world" in season 2. New characters in a new place with a new story but the protagonist would have the same powers as Max.

Wait, apparently, that's exactly what they are going to do:

I hope that it end this way. Going back to Max and Chloe will probably ruin it. It's already perfect. Just don't touch it anymore.

They left a void in my heart and I need it filled once more.

I'm glad you chose the right ending, user.

It will be about new characters in a different location. It's not really a sequel.

Go to general Life Is Strange thread on /vg/

Anyone who does not like Chloe and the romance between her and Max is a troll and bait according to them.

pfffft

No sorry, but saving the town is canon. Saving the town discards their entire character arcs.

I picked the town destroyed ending first for my own sake, but it's clearly the wrong ending.

Also, Warren

*woops, not saving the town discards their character arcs

>but saving the town is canon
Source?

everyone in this thread please kill yourself immediately.

u mad

...

It seems that the devs put all the effort into Sacrifice Chloe ending. Which sucks because they made the other ending seem like the bad or wrong ending.
I was pretty pissed when I chose to sacrifice the town. It was obvious devs didn't want me to do that.

source: a basic understanding of narrative.

It's fucking obvious that saving the town is the true ending. The only reason the other ending is given is so that the player share's Max's burden in making the decision.

Honestly, they weren't harsh enough for that ending. It's easy for the player to disregard all the people in the town as an 'NPC,' but that was Chloe's entire life and a huge part of Max's. Chloe would never forgive Max or herself for living and letting her mom and everyone she's ever cared about (except for Max) die. But in the ending they don't even seem torn up and just drive off.

That's was just a dumb decision on the developers' part. They shouldn't have included the two endings if they didn't even want to make another ending.

There were different interpretations of events that lead people to come to different conclusions. Dontnod just fucked up in the end.

I could understand if I was in that situation as Chloe where I would just stop caring about everything except Max and I just wanna burn it all to the ground.

The town was hardly touched by the tornado. Max and Chloe left the town without even bothering to see if they survived. The buildings were still intact.

i was actually really into this game when it was a high school murder mystery. when chloe started wormholing into photos then it got really silly.

I'ms still surprised how the players chose 50-50 for the final choice. I didn't hesitate at all to pick the good ending and sacrifice Chloe.

This is implying Max is smart enough to realize Chloe isn't worth shit. Max loves her, she sacrificed that town.

i wish they put more effort in the sacrifice town ending, hell the town barely looks destroyed, and im sure they could have shown more of that night and morning after

What makes the bad ending even worse is that as Chloe and Max drive away, fate will continue to keep trying to kill Chloe, because it's her fate to die. The chaos will follow them. More storms will come. Maybe a meteorite will drop down from space. It won't stop until Chloe dies.

Or, they both died in a car crash shortly after leaving the town.

man people were dead as shit everywhere before the tornado even got there

Thank god you don't design games, then.

Having a choice gave Chloe's death weight, even if you were 'supposed' to choose it.

That sounds pretty sweet. See how much of the world you can destroy

No chance in hell.

Max is incredibly kind and selfless. She loves Chloe but she clearly also cares deeply for the other people who would die with sacrificing chloe.

God I'm such a faggot. I finished this game like 6 months ago but even just talking about it in this thread makes me feel like crying.

It's okay, user. We're all crying fags here.

Never

I like the premise of the story: girl recieves very limited time travel powers and doesn't know how to properly use them.

But after that it all went to shit.

Characters are not well developed, chloe and max are pretty awful people, all side characters are high school cliches and flat as a table. And don't get me started on the ending, complete and utter horde shit.

game is shit. can't believe I fell for everyone saying it was good and spent $20 on it. I learned my lesson after that. never spending more than $5 for any episodic game.

Include me in the screenplay Reddit

But it didn't because we know that there was no choice. Devs didn't even want you to choose that ending. It was all an illusion. In reality, there was no weight of her death.

Are you female who happens to have a penis?

Maxine seemed a lot more mature for her age. I get the feeling she was in her late 20's.

The sequel should be about Kate imo.

>No sorry, but saving the town is canon
You're retarded as fuck. The devs SPECIFICALLY said that whatever you want is canon. They even said something about use your imagionation. They put just as much effort into save chloe as save the town. Not to mention the fact that if you save chloe most people in the town dont even die

yes

>mature for her age
It literally took her the entire game to realize going back in time and trying to change things had drastic unforseen consquences on reality. Literally anyone who has seen the butterfly effect could tell you this.

...

>tfw chloe and max are both canon bisluts
>tfw even if they end up together it probably wouldnt last

I was really hoping Chloe found her friend. Imo it takes balls to pull off what they did with they story.

I like how the only Black character in this game was a corrupt, alcoholic shit bag.

Just installed this, what am I in for?

teenage angst

It's better in TLOU :

>Young dindu nig gets biten his brother shoots himself
>sheboon gets shot in the face twice at the end.

I hope we see more in part 2.

They haven't said which is canon.

The thing is both endings were supposed to be equal in their impact.

They ran out of money halfway through and halfassed both.

Your pornfiction doesn't mean it's canon.

hot as it is

That fucking town had it coming. They were due for a reckoning, so I delivered it unto them.

>Final destination

tfw you will never have a comfy life is strange christmas episode dlc where you walk around in sweaters hanging around with kate and stuff

>you can get kate to walk under a mistletoe
