I want to like it, I enjoy playing it a lot, but there's just so much shit wrong with it.

The slug shotgun variant is actually pretty fun to use. Considering that it's a 1-shot headshot kill from a considerable distance, you can pull off some pretty crazy shots once you get used to the bullet drop.

Stopped playing once the DLC came out, even though I still want to kinda.

It's better than brown and more brown at least. I know some of the levels are like that, but the graphics really make up for the brown and brown and grey, mainly because that's what WW1 was.

there's something wrong with that fucking shotgun when equipped with the slug. I've noticed that you have to be at a minimum of at least 3 feet of someone to actually hit them. I think it's the kickback when aiming down sight that makes it such a piece of shit in my opinion.

Gunplay is boring and dumbed down compared to previous Battlefield games, LMGs are dumbed down like a motherfucker and easy to spray even on the move while standing they're almost shitty assault rifles now, snipers are even easier than they used to be in various ways, shotguns are no better than 4, half the playerbase has been running the autistico and memeriegel since launch. There's random bullet deviation and SEVERE recoil recovery mechanics the game doesn't show you, which mostly effects medic guns for some reason despite them being some of the worst in the game. The game has far less weapons than 4 did but it still has the exact same balance problems with 1 or 2 guns in each class shitting on the rest. It's casualized in almost every way from the vehicles to weapons I don't know why people are treating it like a "breath of fresh air" just because of the setting, which really isn't even WW1 it's more like a WW2 with a WW1 skin and executed horribly.
