Where the fuck is the blood moon? I have been resting at campfires for so long and it still isn't here
it'll happen eventually, took me like three ingame weeks to get one for that shrine
Would you her papaya?
I think you have to kill enemies to cause it to arrive
Loved the game, but I finally ran out of things I want to do. Back to Mario Maker for me.
Spill more blood, my Blood Moons are practically back to back because I slaughter enemies on the reg.
It seems to be linked to how much you do in the world. Kill more enemies, harvest more fruit, find more chests, and the timer increases. When you just sit around not changing the world, blood moons take forever to trigger.
If you're doing the one shrine quest, just go adventure until you see a blood moon in the sky then fast travel as close to the platform as you can. You have pretty much the entire night to trigger the shrine. Even if the animation cuts in you still have a few in game hours.
If you're just waiting to cycle through minibosses, I find clearing the Coliseum works wonders.

Anyways you like the game so far?
Yeah its all great.
>only at 62 shrines
>most of the rest of them are sidequests
Fuck
Blood Moon is so the game doesn't have to save too many game state details like which chests have been opened, which enemies have been killed, etc... So the more stuff you do, the closer it pushes the game to running a blood moon and resetting everything. So just go Korok hunting and kill every enemy you see along the way, and you'll get it in no time.
there's only 42 shrine quests and a lot of them don't actually have to be activated to get the shrine. i have all 120 and i'm still missing two shrine quests

Keep the physics engine, re-use some assets, condense the world, add WAY more enemies, add larger dungeons, reduce the number of shrines, make the existing shrines contain more than a single puzzle (there were a few that resembled mini-dungeons, more of those).
>how you would rank it with other 3D zeldas
It sits comfortably near the top. I don't know if I have a concrete spot for it yet, but it's leagues above WW, SS, and TP. MM, OoT, and BotW all have their merits for different reasons.
Here's two more interesting questions
>Which way did you go the first time you stepped off the Great Plateau? What thing in the distance were you interested in?
>What was your first death after leaving the Great Plateau?
I wouldn't be surprised if there are more enemies and longer dungeons in the game. The Zelda team always listens to feedback, and it's kind of obvious they spent the most time on the engine, so next time they should have more time to iron out and add more content, since they already said they're going to reuse the engine
>Just beat Ganon
I wish the Dark beast fight was harder ad more involved, because atmosphere and music wise it was fucking great.
Now to give Zelda 100 years worth of backlogged sex
I went where they game told me to, Karikako
I died to a fucking Bokoblin as I was too cocky
>implying Ganon wasn't mind fucking her the whole time
went to lake hylia looking for Zoras (only found one), not sure what my first death was
What's supposed to be the "true ending?" The cutscene at the end where she wants to go to Zora's Domain? I had all the memories when I beat him but I wasn't sure what was supposed to be special
What happens when i go into the castle? Can i leave again? If i fight ganon does the game keep going? Can i come back and redo dungeons and shit?
Monster girl fetish
you can go in and out of the castle all you want, just avoid the final boss room (it's fairly obvious)

Yes it's that cutscene. I think the implication is that Link does remember her and they get together at the end if you got the memories, hence the "do you really remember me" line.
You can leave the castle at any time but going into the sanctum at the top is a point of no return. The game autosaves before entering and go go back there if you beat Ganon
Went straight to this one shrine near a bunch of moblins.
Consequently I died to a moblin.

Beat the main story line about a week after it came out and moved onto Automata. Been there ever since.
I'll probably play it again, but it'll be a while. First, I've got to do a completionist run on Automata, then its Persona 5, then I've got to play a few games in the back cataloge (including BB DLC, DS2 Scholar of the 1st sin, DS3, Wild Arms, Wild Arms 2, Dino Crisis, Dino Crisis 2, Xenogears, and Xenoblade Chronicles), at which point, other games I'm mildly interested in will be cheap enough to pick up, like Horizon Zero Dawn, and then, if there's still nothing out that I want to play, I'll probably give BOTW another run.
It was a good game, don't get me wrong. Definitely the best since at least LTTP, but its still overrated in my opinion.
Post hard mode wish lists.
i did not care for it in one bit due to the timer.
no matter how good of a story, that mechanic just shit all over it.
Think about what might have a "crown of bone," they are in the area of that shrine.
I suggest getting some stealth gear to help with it though.
>Crazed girl cooking dubious food from improvised ingredients.
>A short distance away is a cabin with the dieing words of someone that starved on that mountain.
>Link just left that girl alone on the mountain, to eventually share the same fate.
A bigger missed opportunity is no easy to access list of cleared shrines for replay.
what's the deal with Automata? action game with a lot of depth?
You aren't. MM is my least favorite Zelda that I've ever played. After beating it once when it first came out, its done nothing but sit on my book shelf.
It has quite little depth compared to other platinium games. It's an RPG at heart
Depth in lore? Absolutely. Combat? It's not platinum's deepest combat, but it's very satisfying, and the difficulty ranges from 1 hit deaths down to "you'd have to be a fucking retard to die."
If you're going to play Automata, I would recommend playing the original first, because by Ending E, Automata spoils the ever loving fuck out of the first game. There's also a lot of references to past games (D3, D1, NieR - mostly NieR) that you won't really feel like you're missing if you haven't played, but are super fucking satisfying if you have.
>the privileged star user is a faggot

Look at the mountains behind her in my first pic. Those mountains are all discarded dubious food.
Obviously she's got enough ingredients to survive if she just stops cooking them before eating

>more enemy types

I honestly believe the hardest challenge in this game besides the obvious Korok challenge is trying to max out the Hero of the Wild set. It's a slow grind.
It's not even that bad. Dragon parts are easy to get, although time consuming since you can only get one per dragon each day. You also only need 3 Star Fragments, which is quite manageable.
Now the amiibo tunics are horseshit, since you need TWELVE (12) Star Fragments to upgrade them, and they are worse statwise than the Wild set.
I actually am one Star Fragment away from maxxing out the Classic Tunic set. Took long enough.
I wikipedia'd the game to try to get a handle on the lore and I have no idea what the fuck is going on
sounds fun!

WHY THE FUCK IS GANONS HORSE GUARDED BY TWO LYNELS?!!?!?

Run past them.
Alternatively, put on the Lynel mask then run past them.

Very hard. It's an entirely different kind of game. But I like it more than Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. About the same as Wind Waker. Less than Ocarina and Majora.
is opening my LoZ amiibos worth it for this game?
I did but still, pants are well soiled.

Campfire until night, then wait. When you get your piece, get to the other two places. Not that bad at all.
You should do it anyway, you dumb faggot.
Amiibos give exclusive costumes, so yes
Just got some NFC tags for OoT and Fierce Diety... fucking awesome... Now I'm farming to upgrade them
You don't really need to play D3 or D1 to enjoy NieR, and having played them doesn't make NieR any more enjoyable (aside from weapon familiarity and literally a reference or two that even D1 fans might miss), but the lore is actually extremely complex (despite the creator's claims, D2 is actually the sequel to D1's A ending - there's no reason for it not to be except that the creator of the other games wasn't sitting in the director's chair. He still contributed to the game and has impacted the game through novels like Grimoire NieR and Garden of Light).
WONDERFUL DAY WHEN EVERYBODY IS ENJOYING OUR FAVORITE GAMES NINTENDO BROS ^^ EVEN PCFAGS ARE ENJOYING THE GAME . SO FUCKING SWEET .
Can you fuck off to /vg/ already?
It's a wild ride, and, at least with NieR and Automata, the music is hands down the absolute best that you will ever hear in a video game. Literally every track is perfect for where it is played.
>drama CD
>STAGE PLAY
what the fuck
THE GODDESSES NEVER INTENDED ONE HYLIAN TO BE SO SASSY
Damn I love the snarky dialogue choices in this game
Yup. After the game, there is a "Drama CD" with story taking place after the fact. There's nothing you really need to know from that that doesn't get explained in the game (albeit in a "tl;dr" fashion). Ditto for the stage play.
That said, if you're interested, it's all been translated and had transcripts posted online. Just like all the different mangas and novellas (only exception to that is Drakengard 1.3; but that's a full-blown novel, and it doesn't impact the main timeline AT ALL).
I wish he was that snarky with Zelda, it would pretty much be the LoZ cartoon again
Somebody don't come back
Like there's some in a field outside a stable. Some woman at the stable gives you a quest to wipe them out
don't ever reply to my posts you cunt.
BotW is the cheekiest Link's ever been
I wish he had emoted more during the memories
Those things are no more "what the fuck" than the final bosses of Drakengard 1 and Drakengard 3's final bosses.
I spent weeks on each of those.
I like his stony face. He's basically "my feet hurt", which is what I would think if I am serving someone who hates me
