Think you're going to purchase Destiny 2 since it'll be for PC, come September? Why or why not?
I was somewhat a fan of Destiny 1, but it just got too repetitive for me and I wish there was an in-game market and more cities, so based on those two thing sI think I'll decide when I learn more about it. Also, not for PC. I hate controllers.
Zachary Ward
It's gonna have Denuvo so no
Eli Brooks
its a server side game, it wont need denuvo
Nathaniel Anderson
Hello activision market research associate.
I will not be purchasing Destiny Boogaloo 2: The Grindening come September. It will be a shit game, just like the original. Nothing I've seen out of Bungie has convinced me that they can do otherwise these days.
But by all means, keep making this thread with this image every day for the next six months.
Jace Davis
its a purely online game?
Nathan Nelson
Literally the first time making this thread, I don't frequent Sup Forums every day like you, faggot. Was just seeing what other people think because it looks the fucking same to me so far.
Ethan Cox
MMOs are a trash genre. As a member of the pc master race I am not having any of that shit, I've already kicked that addiction.
Owen Bailey
Not unless it blows me away, I got the Division for cheap on PC and besides being a dead as fuck MMO-like game it was somehow more boring than Borderlands 2 which wasnt that great to begin with.
Dominic Brown
I loved Destiny 1 on my Boner. Now that I've upgraded to PC and Destiny is coming along of course I'll be buying. So you fucking marketing shill, hurry up and tell your higher ups to get a pre-order for PC digital deluxe up so I can buy it, fuckers.
Levi Parker
No because the first one was shit.
Lincoln Richardson
maybe if there's cross platform between ps4 and pc so that i can play with my nephew
its pretty fucking unlikely though, so most likely not.
Landon Ortiz
That would be a cool feature, I'd buy pretty much any game with cross-platform play at this point, even this piece of shit.
Eli Green
>Reddit pacing You need to go back
Henry Clark
Destiny 1 left me with absolutely left me wanting to never support Bunjie again. They took the most abusive elements of MMOs and slapped them on top of a game to try to cash in on the MMO lifespan. After about a week the concoction they came up with got old, but convinced you to keep grinding away at the same grain of content for weeks on end to get the last 2 fucking weapons you want or to max out your character.
IMO they need to go full MMO or stop wasting people's money. Give us a level cap that takes months to reach, and enough content to keep us entertained while we get there. If you don't want to give us trading, put your fucking back into whatever item progression you do give us so it doesn't boil down to a 1/1000 lottery.
Also, fuck whoever supports mitigating gear importance in iron banner. You spend all of that time getting more powerful weapon and gear, it's fucking pointless if you can't use it to arm wrestle other players.
Charles Phillips
>FPS multiplayer
Probably not m8e.
John Martinez
Yes
Nathaniel Perry
damn i can't pirate an online game
Lucas Gutierrez
After Destiny 1, firing Marty, and driving off Staten? Jason will be lucky to make another cent off me t b h unless Bungie releases Music of the Spheres
Wyatt Wright
>Ask opinions about a video game on Sup Forums Must be a shill >Like a video game Must be a shill >Dislike a video game Must be a paid shill is marketing
wtf is Sup Forums for anymore? All I seem to see here are Steam sale weaboo faggots anymore
Dominic Parker
I love how with destiny 2 on the horizon everyone is quickly forgetting how they ass raped thier veteran players time and time again with every dlc and expansion bonus that came out. How even after publicly acknowledging it was a shitty practice they kept doing it with every new special seasonal offer. The didn't just stab the vet players in the back once or twice with a few poor choices here or there- no they did it over, and over, and over again, each time saying the would learn and do better next time but each time fucking over the vet players that much more AL in the name of shekels.
Screen cap this so when history repeats itself you can't say you weren't warned.
Ayden Lewis
I never played the first game on account of everyone saying it was shit as well as it not being on mustard machines, but can someone enlighten me as to why there is a sequel coming?
I seem to remember talk about Destiny being some huge game that was going to be supported for a decade or something, they wanted it to be WoW: Halo Edition. What happened? Is a sequel basically an admission that they failed?
As for your question, OP. If people are saying that it's a substantial improvement over the first game and the PC version is decent then yes, I'll try it. Otherwise I'm likely to ignore it just like the first game.
Austin Young
Don't forget they announced Destiny 2 with two expansions alongside it and a season pass
Kayden Ross
I'm gonna wait a year and a half, maybe two, to buy it. By then I guess the most important DLC will be out and they'll have set up a cheap offer to get it all.
You'd have to be legitimately brain dead retarded to buy destiny at launch after the shit they pulled with the first game.
Carter Phillips
Destiny looks like The Division gameplay wise, except with a shit setting
Oliver Lopez
Yes even though the first one was shit
Jason Morales
Probably not, I don't want to constantly shell out 20 bucks every few months just to keep my interest.
Isaac Gray
It was popular beyond their wildest dreams and is still well into the millions of playerbase
Liam Smith
100% gonna get it.Been wanting it on PC, its one of the only games i have on PS4.
Xavier Long
The Destiny franchise was always intended to be multiple games spread out over 10 years punctuated regularly by small expansions and between games with larger expansions.
Liam Anderson
My worry is this being windows10/microsoft store exclusive. I imagine activision is smarter than that though.
Jason James
>saying it was shit It was shit, until they released every expansion. If destiny had released with even half the content as all of the expansions that came after, it would have been heralded game of the year, maybe even next 2 or 3 years. Problem is the OG release disc was shit because it had not very good endgame and an absolute shit story. What saved it was the slick and cinematic gameplay, as well as activision being quick to push out new xpacs. >they wanted it to be WoW: Halo Edition It pretty much is. I play both WoW and Destiny and I can feel some very feint parallels between the two. Not to mention, Activision owns Blizzard now.
Levi Brown
I got a key for the beta so I'll try it. Might be something I would buy in a sale
Dylan Brown
I play a ton of Destiny but I'm not sold on anything until I at least play the beta. Destiny's fanbase is retarded and if Bungie takes even 1% of their suggestions seriously then I don't think I can stand to play it.
Gavin Edwards
>Looks the same >Literally haven't even shown gameplay yet
Good logic m8
Carson Thompson
>Every trailer just shows the same shit we've seen in 1
Brandon Davis
I won't have a gaming PC by the time it comes out or soon after that, so if I do get it, it will be on my ps4. Still waiting on actual gameplay and word on improvements. I also got tired of the grind and is mainly why I quit during the taken king. I will get it if they fixed the repetivness of the grind. Hoping they open up the world to be even more like an MMO rather than something like monster hunter or phantasy star online. Bungie, If you want me to play your game, give me fucking variety and the illusion of having fun, rather than the apparent process of grinding of loot, to reach the next level of grinding loot.
Jace Morris
>announce game >taking pre-orders >not a single fucking in-game screenshot of this game exists today I'm not buying shit until they show us something. Anything.
Chase Richardson
...
Grayson Miller
I thought this game was a fucking shooter?
Connor Turner
It is but it also has swords.
Elijah Cox
There are a few weapons that you wield in third-person
Levi Roberts
...
Nathaniel Rivera
The game had a couple of sections where people used swords, and they were so well-received that Bungie eventually made swords available as equipment.
