If they announce TLOUp2 in 2017 at E3, it will be my favorite year for video games, ever.

It really has been. Its been a while since i was so backlogged on current games. I havent even gotten around to Horizon or Nier since Ive been having fun in Yakuza. Major improvement after the shitshow 2016 was

Yakuza is truly a magnificent game, so is Dragonquest Builders. Both those games had me in awe by the end. Not many games have managed to done that this gen for me

And the last 10 years have been relatively weak for people who like Japanese games on consoles. Heaven forbid we get a year for once.

It's fantastic, it's kind of like a lite DQ jrpg with building elements, it uses the mechanics of Minecraft but has you following a story and doing levels. It's semi-open world and there's lots of secrets, side quests and free time to build your own stuff if you want. I bought the game 3 times to support the series, I just think it's a top tier game and has really good writing/music/gameplay. It's quite a long game, almost as long as Yakuza

I'm hoping for gameplay on Death Stranding, RDR2, and a TES VI teaser

Never felt like it left on the last couple of handheld gens but yeah, 2017 is killing it on the console front.

45-50 hours if you just do the main story

60 hours if you do the main story + sidequests which I higly reccomend since the side content is 100% worth doing

It goes two ways. You can rush through it in hours, or you can try for platinum and end up spending weeks trying.
