Land of the free

Only white people watch f1

How could this happen bros?

reddit

>same car copypasted

Jesus christ real life has some lazy ass devs.

You should be proud of your black brother wining though.

Thats why is so pure. Niggers havent invaded yet.

>south america
>white

>nigga on the podium for the past 4 years non stop

>2017 Formula 1 Heineken Chinese Grand Prix

WHO NAMES THESE FUCKING THINGS

corporations TM

Even the water graphics looks like shit in real life

Whoever pays the most.

>i have never seen a clean lake in my life
heh

but he's british

And black

>reusing the same model
>full of product placements
Holy shit, God is a shitty dev and a sell out.

>Brawndo™ presents the State of the Union!

Dunno, you tell me.

>reusing the same model
In F1, teammates have the same sponsor vinyl on their cars
>full of product placements
Just like real F1

...

You wouldn't be able to see a fucking thing there in real life because of the spray.

Gee I wonder which is which..
Oh the one with the mirrors that don't work how they should do must be real.

to be fair before you pointed out I thought the left one was a game but now it looks like it's pretty obvious that the right one is

Topwew

What games let me be the best of them all?

whoah, i almost missed they're sponsored by ROLEX

Can't see if ironic or just stupid

>yfw

I actually can't tell which it is.

COCO
SENNA

>I have never driven a car and don't know how mirrors work

I thought the left one was fake because the tress looked copy pasted

that video quality is pretty shit, of course they look similar

Man F1 2013 was such a good game, besides the awful tyre deg. Loved the steering feel of that game.

Hello lads

>finlel

At least the commentators don't have to spout the company's name and what they sell like fucking every US racing event.

>THIS RACE IS SPONSORED BY VERIZON WIRELESS, 99% COVERAGE IN THE US OF A, ALSO SPONSORED BY CORN NUTS, WE'RE NUTS FOR CORN

Aside from the mirrors, the left one has copypasted trees, light "cinematic fog", a videogamey gear indicator and the driver's trembling is robotic and almost nonexistant. Plus the reflections on the car are overdone.
Not that it isn't an excellent recreation of the real thing.

I know you're bitching about the "ground texture" but you should know that if the track did actually have as much defined texture roughness as you would hope, that road is probably not safe for motorsport anymore.

When people watch F1 do they just leave it on in the background? I watched a race a few weeks ago and it was boring as shit.

But he has a job.

F1 definitely isn't for casual watchers, more for the people interested in the cars themselves or drivers.

Passing was a lot more authentic this GP, and I'm glad.

>F1
>pure
oh boy

Authentic how? Because the cars are wider?

>tfw you spend $300 million a year to develop a car
>you have a 75% retire rate by the 2nd race

because le flappy open wing press button to pass DRS was pretty much useless

I have no clue what that is.

>mclelren

Far less DRS, drag reduction system, where if you're within 1 second to the car ahead a flap in the rear wing comes open and allows more speed down a straight making passes extremely predictable.

how is this bad? sounds like a skill mechanic that they took out

>skill mechanic
>when you get close you are given a free pass rather than having to earn the pass by actually trying to overtake

Cars and roads are the easiest things to make look real.

>free
But they would have to out maneuver them to pass unless they literally drove through them. How is that not a skill mechanic? Isn't that the basics of Nascar?

They didn't take it out, it's just harder with these new cars to pass on DRS straights becuase the amount of drag on the cars in straights.

my.mixtape.moe/dsusmy.mp4 - non DRS overtake

youtube.com/watch?v=xvat9Io0u20 - DRS overtake, just googled this shit

It depends on the track mostly
some can be fun to watch, other its just hamiltonwinslol

my tip
go watch MotoGP

you cant just weave around blocking people to defend, and with drs they can just drive straight past you while you can do anything because they got within a second

what was posted as a drs overtake is one of the tame ones, its not skill in any way shape or form to just drive by someone on a straight

There's a rule in F1, and mostly all FIA covered races, where you can move 1 time to defend your line to possibly block the guy coming at you, anymore is incredibly dangerous especially for F1.

It's essentially a free pass with equal cars.

Absolutely, without a doubt.

Literally the GOAT, can't wait for him to win this season.

I watched a documentary a few days ago on F1. How is America? Where do I even watch it in the US? It isn't on TV.

Acestream. Download that shit and look for a stream in Sup Forums or /reddit/. They usually change race to race.

well f1 is owned by americans now so they will probably push for more us races and better coverage there now, also i think its on NBC sports or something like that, not from the us so im not sure, the next race is in a week, you can find the times it will be on at least on formula1.com, its best to just try and find a stream online somewhere to watch it if you cant find it on tv

get ready to be trying to watch at insane times if you do follow since a lot of the races will be catered for european timezones

Because it's a money sport that requires peak mental fitness not physical.

Actually now it requires physical too because of the new cars

>Actually now it requires physical too
>implying

youtube.com/watch?v=yx6BbFTNyy0

It's pretty much the same, look at the effort needed.

are there any good f1 games?

fpbp
next step real time ray tracing, which i'll probably never see in my lifetime

Yeah, F1 2013.

WOAH

F1 2013, but it's not on steam anymore because of jews.

F1 2016 is pretty good, looks like shit but has really good AI, wait for a race weekend, it usually goes on sale around those times, no clue if it's cracked or not now since denuvo.

Real life, or video game?

Its easy for you to say that when you're not the one experiencing G-Forces higher than that of fighter pilots every lap for 2 hours

I highly not recomend playing F1 games without wheel.

...

We are getting closer in terms of lightning.
youtube.com/watch?v=aZqH11eKp44

I just don't think they are that much harder compared to recent years, the only really hard race on the body the drivers have to go through is Singapore.

Anyone here get Motorsport Manager during the free week?

How's your team doing? You didn't go bankrupt after getting promoted from ERS,
did you?

>GT Sport
yet the cars will still sound like lawnmowers.

>here's your controller bro

they dont

>the car drives itself
And they say macros are forbidden on computer mice.

Is Dirt rally a good racing game? it's on humble monthly and am currently considering it

Lewis Hamilton.
White.

yes, dirt rally is in my opinion the best of the dirt games

Holy shit, no wonder F1 translated to videogames so well.

Project Cars

I found the 2 races of the 2017 season quite exciting to watch, much more interesting than the previous year.

Just wish there'd be more competition and less guys who drive 4sec slower.

how low does it usually go? is it worth the price of 12$?

Dude, this is brilliant.

ive been a bit disappointed in the races so far this year, not due to the drivers or cars or anything like that but in the first race mercedes handed ferrari the victory with a silly strategy, and ferrari (in hindsight) shot themselves in the foot with their strategy for vettel today, im hoping to see a fight between hamilton and vettel on the track because its something which has been brewing for so long

f1 has never really been a sport where there is plenty of competition, i mean youll get it in some seasons but usually the top, "big" teams will be out in front and youll have a lot of drivers who wont stand a chance of getting a win or a podium unless craziness happens

Sweden won the latest Sup Forums grand prix.

youtu.be/7ZEuulGtzvA

The wii u could of had an amazing F1 game.

Yea, strategy has always been important.
While overtakes via pit stopping are boring, I do wish me back that the cars can refuel and everyone can freely chose the amount of fuel they start with. It adds quite some depth to the races I believe.

It's an acquired taste.
Not like Normie nigger ball.

>acquired taste
how is it any different than nascar?

sadly refueling genuinely kills pretty much all on track overtaking, as much as it adds depth and more strategy there would probably be single digit overtakes done at races

Why don't they split the race into two smaller races with flipped starting order?
