You need to be a certain level to even do damage to him, technically you can fight him around level 50 but he'll one-shot you so you'd be better off around level 70 imo. Use the chip that slows time, I think it's overclock, have 2B in your party and set her to aggressive, pop enhancement items and you'll be good to go.

Oh, there's a baseline level to even attempt it? Does hacking not cause more damage than A2 who I haven't gotten to yet but I assume the level/dmg output would be higher

AFAIK you can only fight truck Emil as 9S, because you have to hack the chest open to trigger the fight. The first time I fought Emil I was level 46 or so, and none of my attacks did any damage. I think it's possible to do damage once you get slightly higher level, but like I said, it'll be an endurance fight since you'll be tickling him while he can just do a crazy drift and one shot you.

So explain why the one you meet isn't batshit insane

If you can manage to avoid being 1-shot, stack up as much Vengeance chips (preferably +6) as you can. Take the hit, deals damage to him, heal up. Rinse repeat.

70s is a good spot, and yeah you can. It's probably the best way of damage between hacking + vengeance

I don't think you can hack him since he's not a machine.

Because he's not a giant head equipped with nothing but kill rays. And also he's pretty bonkers as well.

bois I'm getting conflicting reports here. Is vengeance viable though as a substrat with autoheal if you're constantly attacking or would it be better to just rely on vengeance + autoheal and pray for the best.

You can hack him, it takes a while to charge up though.

Overlevel and just beat his shit in, or stock up on a ton of healing items and just do vengeance then max heal items.

If you need to level just beat up the rabbit machine statue in front of the amusement park

it's high in exp payout. It's level 99 but easy to kill

Also don't forget to slap on an exp +6, or whatever the most you can muster is.

They just went and hid underground and made countless robots that were based off him.
But by that point Emil was fractured and deteriorating mentally and couldn't do much else.

It takes 15 minutes to reach 99 with bunny farm. Then equip HP chips if you have problems with dodging

I'm not sure I want to go all the way to 99 before the DLC but couple levels are fine, thanks user

Humanity went extinct long before aliens. Also he didn't fight for humanity but to protect Kaine's grandma place.

There's ending Y which happens when you don't prevent Emil from self-destructing. The fight cannot be replayed through chapter select and if you don't have an earlier save to load, this ending can be missed permanently
