No idiot, Quen is useless on easiest difficulty because you can take like 10 hits without dying on death march you die in 3-4 hits early game, quen adds at least one more hit to survivability or when you get poisoned or burning.

Taking an alchemy/bomb build into those bandit forts in Blood and Wine is the most fantastic shit.

Why does everyone say the combat is so bad? Haven't seen a single argument in this thread yet. I'll concede it's a bit casual since it's not super hard to beat the game with just dodge and maybe quen, but there are quite a few options to play around with build that mix things up.
