Should I play the original or golden?
I hear Troy Baker's performance is really good.
Also, Adachi is the killer

Golden
Marie is cute and add 1 more dungeon
Golden is better and has more content.
>Adachi is the killer
not even a spoiler anymore
The new spoiler you should be posting is Igor is an imposter
If you have a Vita/PSTV, you really have no reason not to play Golden, unless you're getting autistic over the voice change(s). And you won't even notice or care about if you have nothing to compare them to anyway.
You can always undub.
Original P4 Chie is better than Golden. I don't care who disagrees.
You can undub on the shita?
It's completely obvious though. I don't know why they changed his English voice, As soon as I heard it from his mouth I knew something was up.
>just played P4 for the first time a couple months ago
:>watched clips of the dubbed anime afterward to compare
>also watched a few gameplay vids of Golden which feature Golden Chie dialogue
The conclusion I've come to is that original Chie is better in the games. Maybe they were just specific awkward lines, but Golden Chie just sounded kind of shitty. I did really like her in the anime clips I saw though. I guess it's because the anime looks more comedic and lighthearted/cartoony. Makes sense I guess, because the VA naturally must have been getting used to her while voicing her in Golden, then was more experienced by the time they dubbed the anime. I actually have no idea. The anime came out after, right? Fuck if I know. If I'm wrong about that last part, I still have the same general opinion.
Pretty sure that's Naoto dressed as Marie.
Troy Baker is Kanji in both P4 and P4G. Matt Mercer didn't take over as Kanji until the second half of the anime and Arena. Everything after that is him. Still does a good job but you can tell the difference if you hear their lines right next to each other.
I wouldn't have noticed by myself that Teddie's VA changed if people hadn't brought it up.
The actor who played him in the Japanese version died. So it was a real surprise. That's probably the reason the game even has dual audio in the first place.
I think his death makes it even more obvious, since they're anal about VAs changing over there and how a VA IS that character. A change in voice = not the same character
If you're on the right firmware, yes
So I just started Golden and right now on April 18th. Is there a guide out there that tells me when things open up and what dialog choices I should pick? The only one I found is for Original which while kind of helpful Golden changes up enough things that its not exact. Not looking for a completely walkthrough just a quick easy guide.
Right, but it would have been an understandable change in the Japanese version because the actor could not return. In the English version they didn't need to recast him because of the death of the Japanese actor, so I immediately knew it was a different character when I heard the voice.
Golden for that Adachi social link
>you will never be bros with Adachi
why live
Don't play any of them, they're garbage.
