People that shit all over this game didn't play Banjo-Kazooie back in the day. These are the same people that say collectathons are boring as fuck, after playing Banjo 15 years past release. Seriously, stock animations of Yooka staring at people with a stupid smile on his face regardless of the situation. A few animations in that music video are re-used a lot from what I've seen of the gameplay

I'm getting it because I have a hankering for 3D platformers and don't care about e-celebs or politics. I never expected it to be better than Banjo-Kazooie. That game is so ingrained in my psyche that I treat all games I play now like a collectathon. It's my life-defining game, and I knew that there would be no way to ever change that nearly 20 years later. But I want to see more 3D platformers so I'll put my money where my mouth is.
