How did you get past this part Sup Forums?
Even the walkthrough guides aren't helpful for this area since everything looks the same
>walkthrough guides
W-what are you doing, denying yourself the joy of finding shit out for yourself? One of the best parts of Souls games. Just look around Jesus Christ.
Dagger swag
Bow
Just use infinite health hack and get over with it, the boss battle is awesome after you open that door
I thought it was pretty clear once you lit the first "shrine" or whatever it was on fire. Just keep exploring until you found the rest, although I did get lost a lot.
wait until you get to the ringed city
>bullet hell in poison swamp
>bullet hell in poison swamp with giant enemies with infinite poise that can kill you in 3 hits
>bullet hell in poison swamp with giant enemies with infinite poise that can kill you in 3 hits and random bits of sunlight that inflict curse which causes insta death
dude just git gud ;)
...
Same way as all other parts. Spamming roll.
Dagger side step or roll retard
Took me 30 minutes to put out all the fires. You are probably just retarded OP.
The area is basically one huge irregular circle, just follow the edge of the wall if you're lost. I pretty much ignore the poison in that area and just heal through it. Try to engage the huge tree wielding swamp monsters with arrows and don't fight them in the deep mud.
Literally a path to follow.
Only time you stray is one bit for the third candle where the path is a bit less obvious and for collecting all the shit.
At least it doesn't slow you down.
And having played with a greataxe I can definitely say that the voidheads don't have infinite poise since an uncharged R2 staggers them out of every single attack that they do.
Angel sections are literal garbage though (Even if the angels don't instantly curse you and it's only a punishment for standing still and in an obstructed location) and the level design is pure shit.
Also fucking dumb to want to do fanservice for an area in DaS2 and then do it as lazily as possible by having an NPC invader with a set and mostly populating the area with reused enemies but it's OK because there is a poison swamp, a destroyed windmill and a demon boss I guess.
Where's my burnable windmill, my ladder merchant (Other than Profaned capital), my actual Desert sorceress enemy, my snaketits, my giant slavedrivers, my headless mannequins and my lava fortress in the sky?
>Hitting swamp monsters with arrows
>Not getting your friend to do it
There are environmental hazards specifically for killing them.
Get them to stand in the fire or get the archer to unleash hell on them.

>Dark souls
Listen heres what you do OP, listen carefully this is important, you right click on the DS3 file, and you press 'Delete file'.
>walkthrough guides
What the fuck are you doing.
I always keep a bow handy for occasions like these
don't listen to these guys OP they probably played with guides too
that being said just keep playing without one it's more fun
what stats determine your bow damage?
I was super worried about this area after seeing so many people having trouble with it, but it was nothing
It's easy as hell to avoid any enemies that are going to cause you trouble and those slug looking things are a minor annoyance at most. The worst thing about it is that you're being continuously poisoned but it isn't even hard to find items to counter it
I don't know why they didn't bring back the Rusted Iron Ring.
tackled it the same way I tackled Blighttown
explore the poison by sprinting between the non-poison parts until there's nothing but poison left
then you read the fucking signs on the ground and know you need to extinguish the 3 flames to move on
because there's 4 ring slots now and it's too good
they'd have to nerf it into the ground because no fun allowed
I dropped the DLC even before this part.
