A lot of these " Why don't races diverge from human" complaints stem from the fact that it's just easier to use one model (human) and apply it to everything.

For every race to be actually unique, and robots to go full on crazy, you would need payed subscription.

For example, Istaria has actually unique animations in the form of a true dragon race, but they're subscription only.

Your run of the mill Korean MMO won't have any of this as they're freemieum.

Istaria was always subscription only, but they shrunk so much they had to make the game f2p

What did they mean by this?

The appendix, tailbone, male nipples, wisdom teeth, and goosebumps are all vestigial structures among others that humans have, that may have been useful to our distant ancestors in some way, but are largely worthless to us as we are now. There are other things in general that speak of the overall inefficiency of our body.

For example, we intake massive amounts of food and matter that is even more inefficiently used, and nearly all of it is wasted and removed from the body.

The cells in our bodies last anywhere from hours to weeks, and nearly every cell is replaced within a year or less. We move via bipedal limbs that can only carry our bodies about 10 miles per hour and vertically, less than a few feet. In order to cool our bodies, we excrete salt water that evaporates, taking energy, and heat away with it. The entire process of keeping our bodies the correct temperature burns more than half of the already inefficiently obtained energy.

In short, the human body on a more objective level, is quite an inefficient hackjob and filled with compromises.
