Protoss is by far the easiest but it also tends to be the weakest at higher levels. Zerg and Terran are both roughly equally hard, just in different ways.

You remaster also isn't "just raise the solution"

They redid all the sprites and map tiles in 4k resolution and it's a good thing that they didn't touch gameplay.

This game gave me my love of space marines in video games. So definitely Terran. Bonus points for them being space confederates again instead of just generic sci fi humans.

Are Carriers good in BW? If so then Protoss for sure. I never learned to play proper SC as a kid, but I sure as fuck had a lot of fun with the campaigns, skirmish against AI and the map editor.

If I buy the Starcraft bundle now, will I get the update free or do I have to buy it separately?

Starcraft will become free and the remastered version will have to be purchased. Basically as I understand it the game will be free but if you want the good, modern graphics you have to pay. Both versions will play together though and apparently you can swap between old and new graphics live in the middle of a game.

It would probably be a terrible idea to pay for the old version now, I don't think you'll get a free upgrade.
