Every single time I've played this game, the team with this crappy heroe ended losing 98% of the time.

It's not that his kit is outright useless, he just never finds the perfect metagame to shine. He either requires too much time to activate or gets outcarried too quickly. Also illusion based heroes will always be easily countered since icefrog hates them (see phantom lancer/naga siren).

The slowest farming speed in existence, still quite mediocre skills despite icefrogs hard efforts of making him playable. Getting more than armlet means either your opponents are retards or your team is carrying you hard

She makes so that a ranged hero can't live on safelane. You have to answer to spiderlings with melee hero armed with stout/pms. As long as brood doesn't use spiderites (but spiderlings) she should be relatively fine versus most melee heroes too

I feel Brood's strength was her ability to dominate the offlane and enemy jungle on her own, but with the presence of the enemy safelane shrine even that feels more difficult now

It's not that Bounty Hunter is completely useless, it's more that he's terribly niche at what he does. He's decent at assisting with early game ganks, and helping to chase down slippery heroes who can go invisible or easily break LoS, with the added bonus of FREE gold. The biggest problem is that if you aren't against a character who can get completely fucked by Track (which you won't be, most of the time) you might as well pick Nyx.

Spiderlings though have 450 hp and hit like a mudslime truck
worthless if BH has no fighting ability other than shuriken to support his teammates. He dies to everything and most of the time, its out of combat, watching his teammates getting rekt. Its the fucking same everytime I have one in my team and its the same story when im fighting vs him.
He really needs a little buff or make tracking AoE with a higher cd to make the ricochet a decent threat.

Jungler will realise they are getting low exp and will realise BH is there. They will just get a sentry near the relevant neutral camps.

After the neft, BH was pretty mediocre. He has a below average armor even when hes an agi hero, low hp pool, low damage (decent damage with jinada but slow is now crap).
We could say the same with Venomancer, but at least, veno can support better than BH.

Broodmother is a great hero that is terrible if you play her like a normal hero. Brood isn't a carry, not really. She can 1v1 most heroes when she hits level 6, which is what actually matters.
Brood doesn't win teamfights, she wins games. Brood vanishes at about the 20 minute mark, then suddenly the other team is down one set of 'racks, and every external tower is gone.
Whenever someone goes to "take care" of brood, she fucks them, whenever a team goes to deal with her she just leaves, occupying that chunk of the team while the rest enjoys the reduced enemy presence.

Most of BH i played with cant avoid being fucked in the butt with a dust. Building Euls and Graves is not enough when another support can 1v1 you easily.
I just watched the last game a BH was on my enemy team. In one teamfight, a Venomancer just focused him pretty hard slowing him while his ult reached 3/5 of the enemy team. The BH was forced to leave (he died poisoned after throwing a shuriken to a Sven(me) cause he couldnt reach our crystal maiden fucking their team mates with her ulti).
There was simply nothing the BH could do in that fight but you will say "well he couldnt position properly". The thing is we screwed him easily with dust and proper warding. The other teamfights werent different but BH was already irrelevant.
Plus there is a good reason why most pro players avoid picking BH unless they have a different strategy.

You counter PA with stuns and magic damage early on, ghost scepter, glimmer and euls later if she has bkb, you dont let her get ahead of your carries because youre too greedy to buy escape and survivability. Dont let her farm for 20 minutes unless your carry is getting more. Dont let anyone farm for 20 minutes ffs.
But having MKB doesnt means shutting her down it just means she doesnt gets a free victory.
