Why do I get the feeling that the Bayonetta-release that just happend nearly at the same time, costs only a fraction of this, also has 4k support and includes the stuff from the Wii version was deliberately done by Sega to indirectly fuck with Gearbox.

That would be cool.

>Stillborn
>bulletflop
What's next for Gearbox?

I suppose that makes some sense, it's also hilarious.

Oh and I forgot about that terrible duku nukum 3D """enhaced""" version they released earlier.

Wait this is a actually game not some dlc?

Even if the game would be superb nobody would know about it.

Hell, according to Steamspy it even has four times the amount of owners despite having a stealth release with next to no marketing outside of that shitty 8-bit game while Randy-Bobandy's pigsty is making an ass out of themselves with their completely out of touch trailers, G2A debacle and ridiculous pricing.

Bayonetta sales are far from final. In 2 weeks we'll know the full sales.

Post some randy cringe please

SEGA's revenge for that shitshow Colonoscopy Marines.

Should've given owners of the original a free copy

>YFW not a member of Gearbox.

>that terrible duku nukum 3D """enhaced""" version

:^)

I want to believe, Gearbox deserves all the bad things.

>how will Randy/Gearbox recover?
With Borderlands 3, unfortunately. Despite all the shit gearbox pulls off, the brainless masses of casuals and literal children are gonna eat up this trash like it's a thanksgiving dinner.

>gearbox deserved this
>People Can Fly didn't
I don't know what to feel

But it won't have good writing/memes. Did people give a shit about the Tales games and Pre-Sequel?

Pre-sequel flopped so hard it killed the studio that made it.

And the Telltale game is probably the least successful one.

Borderlands time is over.
Nobody cares anymore. Destiny filled its niche.
Unless Borderlands 3 completely innovatess the genre in a positive way and surprises people - which is highly unlikely - it will flop as well

>the same company that developed Opposing Force, Brothers in Arms and Borderlands

>and includes the stuff from the Wii version
What is there other than the nintendo costumes?

Looks like Homeworld is going to go into limbo for another 15 years then.

>Scam money from Sega to fund your own game
>Blunderborn
>Now no publisher wants anything with you
>All those tweets mocking him
>Having to create r34 yourself of your own game and announce it on Twitter
>That fucking song, what the fuck was he thinking
>The G2A drama bullshit with Bulletstorm
>Payed Denuvo for it too
>Asks $60 for the same game
>The company that you fucked over ports a game people wanted to play on PC for a long time
>It costs $20, has a fuckton of extras and doesn't have Denuvo
Is this it? Will Randy kill himself by the end of the year?

Are we still pretending Borderlands 1 was good?

CRASHING THIS COMPANY

PCF suffered a hemorrhage of talent around the semi-acquisition by Microsoft, so it's barely the company that made Painkiller all those years ago.

2K will still publish their games. The sad part is Borderlands 3 will save them because people still line up in droves for shooty looty games, especially ones they can trick their friends into buying to share their misery.

I don't know about that, Pre-Sequel sold like ass.

so did evolve but that wont stop 2k from trying again.

This and since destiny 2 is comming to PC theres no reason to buy borderlands 3

japanese dub

no, that was alien: Isolation.

Also fuck IGN.

Based Sega.

homeworld was made by lelic.

Pre-Sequel had its moments but flooped.
Tales is fantastic but I doubt it gathered much of an audience since its for people who like Borderlands world without the shooting. Even people who like Borderlands, 2 and Pre-Sequel at least, know the writing is utter shit. Tales is good because it wasn't Burch writing.
I think there were parts he wrote which end up sticking out like a sore thumb from an otherwise good story, characters.

I'm all for watching whiny fuck Pitchford crash and burn, I just hope People Can Fly won't be affected.

What?
They might but get they got in bed with Gearbox, they should've expected to thrown under the bus.

SEGA took a shit on Colonial Marines by releasing Alien Isolation with that top tier horror gameplay.

>bayyoneta thread
>haahh g-g-guys give it a week! steam spy is not accurate!
>bulletstorm thread
>guys look, now steam spy is suddenly accurate! let's laugh at Randy
ebin memez weebs.

Colonial Marines might've been the moments Sega realized they couldn't lend their IP to the first bumfuck they see. That or they hired better lawyers to avoid loopholes.

They didn't have that much choice really. I don't know the details of why they went independent from Epic but it couldn't have been pretty.

And now Bulletstorm remaster sells like shit because of the price and Denuvo, has asinine Duke DLC attached to it that kills the objectively good writing of the game, and on top of that they'll probably miss on royalties from Gearbox.

They should contact Devolver. I always think of People Can Fly and Flying Hog Studio as one in the same. Both tend to be great, influenced by old school shooters but end up making a few basic mistakes that bring down the whole experience.

>has 4k support

did they fix the cutscene glitches in 4k?

The writing was a part of Bulletstorm that I genuinely liked. The concepts of brotherhood and redemption were handled pretty well near the end of the game, and the walking token action girl knew she was a token. It was self-aware enough to be funny and not embarassing; see Burch's BORDERMEMES THE PREMEMEQUEL rant for the latter.

But nope, just slap fucking Dick Kickem in there and crank up the graphics before releasing what should have been a patch at full price. Fuckers.

After Battleborn, their most expensive game ever and its total flop, the only thing that can save them is Borderlands 3.

Wonder how much sjw stuff and Burke it will have?

>and crank up the graphics before releasing what should have been a patch at full price.

This is actually what fucked them over. If they didn't charge $60 for it and gave it free to previous owners, it'd have been better accepted on PC.

>crank up the graphics

Apparently they didn't even really do that.

kek. Too bad this is true.

well technically it was 20th century fox's IP
>CM is canon but Isolation isn't
REEEE

why was it good?
why did the sequel flop?
also,
youtube.com/watch?v=pU-DfRSFWbA

Battleborn has like 60 players now. And they still think gearbox is gonna "save" the game.

how?

Lurk the steam discussion board. The delusion is strong.

>why did the sequel flop

but it didn't?

not if during destiny 2 release date, just like what happened with overwatch

>Sold like 5-10% of what Bayonetta did.

I think Gearbox needs to stop making shit games by the looks of it.

It is possible

for a Battleborn player

to know

every other Battleborn player by name

Doubt it because
>implying Sega gives a shit about Gearbox

I think Sega just had more common sense when pricing and putting in the effort.

It's a rerelease adding nothing for full price.

Though you can pay extra to play as Duke Nukem. Nothing changes though. It's like a shitty mod changing your appearance in cutscenes.

Why did they charge $60 for a remaster of an old ass game that has gone on sale for $5 a shitload of times? It's not even like the game was so amazing they could guarantee people would buy it again.

Gearbox just needs to stick to making borderlands games because that's the only thing they can do without fucking up spectacularly.

We don't need Bulletstorm to laugh at Randy, Battleborn already flopped

When they stop smoking whatever shit they are taking and price it within a reasonable level.

Shit should have been at most $19.99 with that stupid DLC included for free.

Another smart move would have been to just work something out with Devolver Digital and keep Duke Nukem Megaton edition up, with the world Tour being DLC.

Fuck, trying look up and remember their Duke re-release's name I noticed they still list Duke Nukem Forever for $19.99 and Aliens: Colonial Marines "Collection"(of shitty DLC) for $29.99....

If that turned out to be true, I'd buy Bayonetta simply for that fact even though I have no desire to play it.

>lied about winning the name "Gearbox" in poker match against Gabe
>fucked over SEGA
>fucked over the guy who made ports of duke nukem (eduke) possible
>made a song about gamergate
>tried to start a fight against overwatch

Gee and people say pepsi and united airlines has bad PR

2k's sharpening a knife behind Randy's back right now.

Even if it was the smarter business decision(which it almost certainly was), there was no way it was getting priced cheap.

>"remaster" of a mediocre FPS no one cares about

Genuinely surprised they bothered with a PC version at all.
