If you can handle THE ANIME, but not getting your ass caved in, start off with Persona 3 FES for the Playstation 2.

If you can handle the difficulty but not THE ANIME, start off with Nocturne for the Playstation 2.

If you can't handle EITHER, start off with Devil Survivor or Strange Journey for the DS.

Or, if you have a physical 3DS, SMT4 is also a good start point.

You can grind to victory in both of those, in DS for higher base level demons, in SJ with just more healing items (and passwords act as an extra crutch for incompetent retards), Nocturne you just need to build your team right or you will never get past certain bosses.

Nocturne has Puzzle Boy which is by far the most difficult thing in any MegaTen.

Enh my first time with this wasnt so bad. I remember getting stuck for a bit but I eventually figured it out. I did play it for the first time like a year ago though, so as an adult.

You have to do all levels of it back to back and they all have a very specific solutions.The first five or 10 levels seem easy, but it just keeps going and going and getting harder and harder.
