Same thing happened to me but with a dk2. Meme games and unfinished projects like dolphin vr are the most part of vr.

Support outside of stuff specifically made with VR in mind is always sketchy. Welcome to Gen 1, where hardware makers and devs alike are still figuring things out.
VR is great for the sense of presence and interaction with the controllers. Not for high resolution. You're better off seeing about a refund or selling it on.

check out the latest gggmanlives reviews, he found 2 (two) great VR shooters for Oculus
It has a ton of usability problems, but I managed to find a comfortable sweet spot with my PSVR setup and play RE7 for like 5 hours straight. It was incredible then.
Modern VR is awesome but it has a ways to go before it's actually usable, like:
>becoming wireless
>becoming lighter weight
>better hardware so graphics aren't as downgraded
>more comfortable head strapping
>devs need to get used to designing for it and the market needs to grow for it
But once those things happen which I suspect at least some of them will in the next couple years, more people will realize how vastly better it is to play games with a HMD.

I don't get the hype for the motion controls. Gamepad + HMD is so much fucking better in my opinion.
Played it all day at Christmas round relatives house, went through a bunch of games, never got motion sick, it's great.
I'm going to get the HTC Vive and PS4 VR myself once the price drops.

It's not the space. That's just so people have enough room to use roomscale without knocking a wall or something. The reason wireless is hard is because of latency with both the video and headtracking information. Even minor delays have an impact.
Now you're just being an idiot. After the lengthy setup of plugging in two usbs and a hdmi, those demos should have been your first stop to see if everything's working.

I have a Vive and fucking love it, onward, pavlov, elite dangerous, are fucking great on VR, the only but right now is the price, too expensive for this ealry content but I'm sure it will become better both for price and content as time passes.
