Tell me ONE good thing in Dark Souls 1 [ONE] [NOT DLC] that happens after Anor Londo that makes it worth playing. Tell me ONE fun thing to do that isn't going through annoying areas and fighting boring bosses. Tell me ONE good boss fight after O&S.
Why is the game so shit after Anor Londo?
Mason Hernandez
you're overthinking
i remember being brand new to the game and going down to ghost town first, that whole experience was crazy.
Gabriel Taylor
I mean, I liked the Tomb of the Giants and parts of the Archives.
Logan Thomas
falling down to the abyss for 4kings is the tightest shit ever you fucking second half meming faggot dicksucker
Ryder Perez
gwyn four kings new londo dukes archives nito great hollow tomb of the giants
im even partial to crystal cave but only because it's so different
Owen Flores
Everything about the leadup to the 4 kings, including getting the ring
Luis Jenkins
Not the OP but I never found Gwyn all that great aside from the music. Four Kings becomes a DPS race and is debatable if it's all fun or not.
New Londo is alright but I'm one of those guys who doesn't want to waste transient curses in fear of running out of them when I really need the. Archives was okay, a bit fucking annoying at times though.
Nito was piss easy and his difficulty is because of his summons and how the fight starts out. Great Hollow is barely a challenge and can be gotten to really early.
William Brooks
I liked TotG too. The atmosphere was absolutely crushing. It was also better before they allowed you to teleport from any bonfire, because once you were in there you either had to claw your way back out or dig deeper.
Joshua Perez
Everything except lost izalith.
Parker Barnes
Demon Ruins is fun. Duke's Archives is fun besides forced death, but that's what ring of sacrifice is for. Lost Izalith is nice to explore once you're not in the lava. The bottom of new londo is cool.
>Tell me ONE good boss fight after O&S. Nito, Centipede Demon, Seathe the Scaleless, and Four kings are all good fights.
Really the only post anor londo content that really, REALLY sucks is the lava in izalith, bed of chaos, and the forced death in duke's archives
Cooper Jenkins
Duke's Archives was great minus the forced death.
Wyatt Ward
Love this meme. Almost as much as "The three crowns dlc redeems DaS2" despite having some of the most abysmal areas and bosses in the series.
Ryan Bennett
>Frigid outskirts
Fuck Dark Souls 2
Christopher Martinez
>Centipede Demon I never understood this thing, 15% of the area is lava and you only get the ability to walk over it after you kill the damn thing. Most of the fight was me just fumbling with the camera.
Jayden Williams
gwyn i thought was a great boss thematically and executed well. I didnt know how to parry so i didnt parry him once and i had a blast
nito i also really enjoyed, the atmosphere and the build up to him was amazing
>disregarding great hollow just because it wasnt hard
people that think the point of these games was to just be difficult and only rank things based on that are retarded, sorry senpai
Brayden Cooper
As soon as you enter the room, roll over the first small lava gap and head to your right. There's a large clear space there that draws centipede demon in and you can fight him no problem.
James Rivera
You can also get the ring from just killing his centipede-hand and I sort of assume that they intended you to do that so you could wear it during the battle but that'd mean that they expected you to read the description and equip an item you just found during combat which is more or less the last thing you'd do at that moment.
Cooper Morris
You're not supposed to need to equip it during the battle. it's supposed to make the battle easier if you did well and then died
Ethan Kelly
Nah you have to dodge it's annoying arm thing constantly whilst it slowly makes its way over if you do that, better just to take the hit and roll to the main island, chug and if you get slapped whilst chugging it's like 20 seconds to run back and get where you were again
Noah Rogers
the part in TotG where there is a skeleton around the corner and you don't see it until it kicks you into the pit to the right of you
that was the most spooky thing in that game
Camden Clark
tomb of the giants was fun, imo
I liked new Londo too
Nolan Hernandez
Does the painted world count? Otherwise yeah I got nothing
Gabriel Roberts
Since you can count 4 kings as pre O/S, post O/S has essentially nothing to offer. Only good thing is that you get to finally warp around, making the whole ordeal a little less awful DS2 has awful DLC. Bosses have NG+ levels of health and damage, for no discernible reason. The areas were interesting at least, if tedious at times.
Daniel Morris
the archives was shit
you cant interact with any of the cool books or stuff around you, the forced death was bullshit(DUDE, JUST KNOW ABOUT THE UNBEATABLE FIGHT IN ADVANCE AND EQUIP A RING OF SACRIFICE, LMAO), and the fucking channelers everywhere was jsut annoying
Eli Hall
And should you play as a spellcaster, especially sorcerer, have fun with the lock-on constantly crapping out.
Gavin Ramirez
O&S isn't even that good Needless to say Iron Golem isn't good either Honestly the game ends for me after bell gargoyles
