Four
Dune 2
I want to say Red Alert 2, but I really liked C&C 3
Tiberium Sun
For what? Gameplay? Story? Kick ass cinematic?
My personal favorite will always be the original because it balanced fantasy and realism the best
Generals, Red Alert 2 and Tiberium Sun and then next
Childhood is tinking Red Alert 2 is the best C&C game. Adulthood is realising it was Tiberian Sun.
>Tiberium Sun
Tiberian* Sun
Tiberian Sun is definitely a classic. Yuri's Revenge is a good one. And Zero Hour is probably my favourite.
TibSun
the one with best nadia
I must agree. Gameplay in my opinion was Generals, Story was the C&C storyline, even with 4 it was still incredible. Cinematic is a tough one though...
Tiberian Sun
My favourite GDI unit along with the HOVER MLRS
Play Nod and against AI and go super turtle-y and build an awesome base with stealth and lasers and sams and artillery and walls and gates.
I hate how they dumbed down the apocalyptic sci-fi setting in c&c3. Tiberian Sun had the best atmosphere.
dark reign
Tiberian Sun > Red Alert > Tiberian Dawn > The Rest
Tiberium Wars/Kane's Wrath for being the best game in the series on an overall basis.
There are some with better story.
There are some with better graphics.
There are some with better gameplay.
However, all of them fail utterly on some account really badly.
Tiberian Sun, despite being my first C&C game, is a chore to play in Campaign and I shiver at the thought of how horrible MP must have been. Soundtrack takes a massive dive until Firestorm.
Red Alert 2 is great, but the multiplayer is all about endless tank spam, it was heavily outdated when it came out, Yuri simply throws a wrench in everything.
Both voxel games look like ass to boot, even if RA2 at least somehow tries with a cartoony art style.
Generals does not have any story to speak of, the campaign is ridiculously short and easy. It gets massive props for the General's Challenge mode but multiplayer is pretty unbearable to the point you're basically playing an RTT game about microing your factions 2-3 rush units. Pathfinding is a mess to boot.
>that one map with the river through the whole map and mutant base in the middle
I wish we could have gotten mutated wildlife in CnC3.
But hey, 3 was mediocre as fuck anyway, so w/e
3
every single one of them is worth playing though
RA2
Opinions on this motherfucker?
Tiberium Wars is underrated and I like it. It's not the best entry in the series though.
Was broken as shit that patch you could mind control an enemy building and deploy it on top of their base.
Completely fucking worthless afterwards
I played the very first c&c game and I couldn't stop thinking about Just do it up. My favorite C&C is by far the original Red Alert, the cut scenes were cheesy but they were not actually trying to be, at least not hard. In later C&C games you notice they are trying too hard.
And I really liked the missions, gotta replay that sometime.
Stoopid 'oomiez.
...
Stop digging these abortions out of the medical waste bin.
Favourite moment from TibSun and favorite moment from TibWars? (Storyline)
Tiberium Sun
Generals
>play game with faction
>with 4 other bots of different factions
>capture other types of command centers
>build all six superweapons
Renegades
I liked them all, except for 4 and the Scrin.
The setting of Tiberian Sun
The abilities and generals of Zero Hour.
The press F for a special ability in Red Alert 3
Red alert 3 had special abilities?
I've often seen people praise generals and Tiberian Wars, but these games were made after Westwood died, right?
>Tfw no one bought my game due to homophobia.
Thanks, trump
Yeah they were. But so was 4. And EA took in Westwood so it was a lot of the same people.
The one with the best Tanya.
Ah thanks

pure fucking kino
This user nails my feelings. TibWars isn't perfect, but it's certainly the most well-rounded entry in the series by far. Themantically Tiberian Sun would be the best one for me, but it's just not as fun to play as Tiberium Wars.
I still remember her from that show Sliders
funny how you complain about ra2 and generals multiplayer when they're by far the best in the series in that regard
I've played every game since RA1 but I still like Tiberium Wars the most.
>Tiberian Sun had the best atmosphere.
I love the setting that the soundtrack sets. Probably my favorite of Klepacki's work outside of individual songs
For gameplay? Generals
For story? Kane's Wrath and Tiberium Wars
generals
i wish videogames wouldn't take themselves seriously so we can have cutscenes like this again
Had the most fun with Generals, fucking loved playing as the GLA.
unfortunately the cnc3 team took that idea too far and went full hurr durr
