would you guys tolerate this kind of art if the game came out in 207 and was western?

Yeah
ZUN's improved a lot, hasn't he?
only if the game was good
I'd laugh at it at least. Especially the one on the left.
...
Yes
ZUN's EoSD art (and most of his early art) isn't actually that bad. I just think he was really fucking drunk when he was drawing Sakuya and forgot about redrawing her when he published the game.
How many good artists would draw for him for free just because they are Touhou fans anyway?
Toady One could get away with it. He's pretty much the West's ZUN, except with less money and more powerful autism.
Undertale came out in 2015 and had only marginally better art. So... yes?
It's the music that makes both of them popular.
Shit dude, I'm pretty sure it'd be a major historic discovery if we figured out ANY games were released in 207, weeb or otherwise
>less money
he gets quite a bit from donations. How much does ZUN make?
Enough to buy a brewery apparently.
...
>f. abuse is claimed to be BadYukkuri
>in fact and reality, is GoodYukkuri instead
rslt1sri4am,f (really should let that one sink right in for a moment, friends)
The music and the extremely strong visual character design that makes 2hus inherently memeable.
Yes, and those same strongpoints made Undertale explode. It's just Western 2hu.
Considering the significance of ANY video game being discovered to have been made in 207, I'd say yes.
>Zun's art has barely advanced in 1810 years
>207
You'd probably be burned as a witch
...
