Just beat this game after avoiding all of Sup Forums for months to avoid spoilers.

Can anyone give me the skinny on everyone's opinion, the jokes that have been made, and stuff?

A bigger disappointment than BotW, which is saying a lot.

Wonderful soundtrack, boring dungeons, annoying limitations and hand-holding. It desperately needs a "complete" version.

Bullshit, they were better than procedural generated hallways by at least being more visually appealing.

I thought it was a good game. Love how they streamilned everything, especially the battles. I was worried that the negotiations would be complicated, but it turned out fine and very quick. Although I tend to like P4's story more, this still was a fantastic game.

Of what I've played I'd rank the Persona games, I'd rank them P4>P5>P3>P1.

I thought the dungeons were great, well laid out and everything. Plus there was Momentos for those that liked P3/P4. What was the problem?

Would be all for a P5 Golden/Platinum/whatever. Especially if it gives extra months to mess with.

Generally people are being positive about it. The main meme is the "GO TO SLEEP" shit because Morgana forces you to go to bed for quite a few nights in a row sometimes. It's a bit forced though.

You sound like someone with low expectations, you should be fine playing BOTW if you don't try to presume anything.

Ha ha, oh Jesus. The game just takes 3 and 4 and improves on them in every way.

I tend to try to go with no expectations the best I can. It's why I avoided Sup Forums for months so I could try not to be influenced.

BotW though is a little spoiled in that regard though as I kept hearing outside of Sup Forums about how it's a 10/10 game, so at least some expectations are already there.

Oh I agree, but I still prefer P4 mainly for it's story. P5's story is still great though and is in top tier overall for the franchise IMO.

It's a 10/10 game if you don't presume what it should and shouldn't be. Most complaints are about how it strays from the past Zelda formula. All you need to know is that you should explore everything, learn not to hoard weapons, and use your tools creatively. That's everything you need to get the most out of BOTW.

I was seriously about to drop the game during October. It was so fucking boring and linear.
