I'd argue Terra is the best overworld theme, and it has one of the best battle themes, but you're right about it not being that memorable. Nothing even springs to my mind apart from the select few

to be fair, X was still ok. it peaked at 9, but X is far from bad. anything beyond X though...

The gameplay was solid, but characters were cancer, aside from Auron and Lulu that is. Art design shat the bed from the get go, music was forgettable, story was melodramatic shit, sphere grid was unrealized and was just a linear shit. Combat was great, tho.
Also, anyone who enjoys bilttzball should be sterilized
