Worth getting a PS4 for P5 or should I just stick to the PS3 version?

Why are you asking us this? It's your money you manchild. Are there any other games on the system that interest you?
Monitoring this thread, I wanna know too.
If you have PS3 version why would you pay again for PS4 version?
If you don't have PS3 version why would prefer same game with lower resolution and longer loading times?
This isn't hard answer actually.
If you think that models being slightly smoother around the edges and loading times being sliced in half justifies buying an entirely new system then yes, go for it.
The only differences between the ps3 and ps4 versions are
>longer load times on ps3
>720p30fps on ps3 and 1080p60fps on ps4
Isn't resolution literally the only difference between the 2 versions?
What the fuck
He doesn't have either; he wants to know if the experience is suitably better on the PS4 to justify the cost of a new console
Yes its my money but I want to do some research before spendinf iit and I value insight from Sup Forums rather than other outlets. Duh.
Bloodborne and Nioh look neat but I'm not in a rush for them.
Is it truly 60 fps? That alone may be worth it.
Yed
The fuck? Where did he said he buy new console just for it?
No. It's 30 on both.
It's the exact same game, so no, just get the PS3 version.
lies, PS4 version is capped at 30FPS.
Only difference between PS4/PS3 versions is PS4 is 1080p, load times are slightly faster, and you can use remote play on Vita or your PC.
Load times are perfectly fine on the PS3, so that's not an issue.
No. It's 30 fps. Unacceptable for a visual novel in 2017.
If you intend on getting a ps4 at some point, just get one now. Getting the ps3 version doesn't make a lot of sense if that's the case. If you're in no hurry for bloodborne or nioh, why are you in a hurry to play Persona 5 on ps3?
If resolution or performance mean much to you, you're better off with the PS4 version.
How does 60fps for a turn based JRPG justify buying a console with three games you're interested in?
There are some PS4-exclusive Personas like Lady Maria and Nathan Drake
Why would you buy a PS4 when you can play the exact same game on the PS3 and you're not gonna be playing anything else for the rest of the month anyway? That's wasting your money. Well, the PS4 is a waste of money anyway.
if you own the bluray disc for PS3, load times take extra long because the game doesn't do a full install and PS3s bluray drive is 2x speed which is slower than PS4s 6x speed.
If you have the digital version on PS3 though then load times are obviously better as the game is loaded 100% from the hard drive.
Worried about spoiling myself as time goes on from lurking here whereas I don't care about the plot in those other games desu

at 2:00 you can get a good example of the loading and graphics difference
I'd say worth it if you ever intend to get a PS4 for other games. If you only want P5 then get PS3 ver
That's a great point.
Seeing those rad menus in 60 fps would be amazing. Seems like its capped at 30 in either case though...
The difference gotta be negligible at most, since I never had any issue with the PS3 load times.
It's not really a huge difference. At best if you own the digital version for both PS3 and PS4, you're saving about 2-3 seconds off each loading screen on PS4.
Real differences on PS4 are just 1080p support and you can do remote play.
funfact: if you have custom firmware on your PS3, you can enable remote play for the game by changing 1 flag in the param.sfo file of the game.
PS4 is constantly getting exclusives so yeah it's worth buying console for that. Better version of Persona 5 is just a bonus.
>there's no "go fuck yourself" option
Can I do it over the net?
And remote playing PS1 games is kinda laggy too.
